Yep, it usually does. When your caravan’s plugged into electric at a campsite, the leisure battery will normally charge on its own. Most newer caravans have a built-in system that takes care of it. Just double-check that everything’s switched on and the cables are properly connected, and you should be good to go.
Most campsites in the UK use a standard 230V hook-up with a 3-pin plug, so that’s what you’ll need in most cases. It’s a good idea to get a proper camping hook-up cable with a built-in safety breaker. Before you go, it’s worth checking what the site offers, and make sure your cable’s long enough to reach.
