Rated 2 out of 5 by Why isn't the mirror convex? This really didn't work for me. Fitted as recommended provided very limit rear vision, and none to my offside so I couldn't see someone overtaking. 04 October 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works really well Didn't want a bar end mirror because find they get in the way so, after lots of reading of reviews, decided to try one of these. They're pretty well made and fastened to frame by plastic straps. The mirror can be placed either to the left or right and does take a little adjusting before the right position is found. Then you have a vibration free large flat mirror that will give you a good view of what is behind you. True you have to move your leg away from the bike slightly but this soon becomes a natural movement and saddle bags do not get in the way as some reviews claim. A good mirror well worth investing in. 10 September 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by bike eye mirror This is a really good mirror and stays fixed as it is out of the way and not easily moved out of line. Rear view on it is really good.it is the best rear view mirror I have used so far 30 August 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bike eye is the best This is the best bike mirror there is. It does not vibrate and once you get used to it is easy to use. You raise your right leg and you can see the road behind you. Simple 04 August 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent addition to my road bike i have been using this for he last year, and I would recommend it! The first reason is if you have any restriction for turning and viewing behind, then this is ideal! Secondly If riding in a group, you can monitor the bike directly behind you! Finally the elongated mirror means that you can cover full range from upright to dropped down! 12 June 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Useful Rear Awareness Aid The bracket fits into the apex of the headset and lashed around the stem and bottom bar with tie wraps. It fits OK in my chunky framed hybrid bike. The top of the mirror sits about level with the top of the top bar. I think you need the seat at least 4 inches (12cm) above the seat post bar to give sufficient clearance to see through your raised leg when the pedal stroke is at the top. There is little bit of a learning curve positioning it and using it effectively. You have to synchronise looking in the mirror with your pedal stroke at the top... If you keep pedalling you get a very quick glance what is behind you. You can't gaze into it like a mirror on the handlebar. It gives you a quick indication of what's behind as you leisurely ride ahead but is definitely no substitute for turning your head back prior to making a turn or other maneuver that involves people around you. It helps to cut down on the unnecessary headturning, like when cyclists or vehicles are just following you or coming up behind you, but doesn't eliminate it entirely... and so it shouldn't. It's much less of an obtrusive appendage likely to get knocked and broken than a handlebar mirror as well. I like it. 20 March 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Suitable - Don't Buy Don't buy this product. It's twice the price of any other, which I mistook for the cost of paying someone to engineer a good novel product. The bracket seating diameter is smaller than most modern chunky frames. The offset to the frame centreline is fixed, so you can't adjust the offset to sneak through the narrow gap between your legs and the frame. The field of view even if you do find a good fixing location is very narrow. Absolutely no use trying to locate it on the handle bars - it's not designed for that. Different cheaper products projecting from the end of the handle bars present a greater risk of being clipped by a passing nutcase - dangerous in my view. All options do not replace the need to learn to turn your head safely and look behind you, but I was just wanting something that would show distant cars approaching so I could pick my time better to turn my head and do a full check. Nothing available fits that purpose. 02 February 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bike Eye Bike Mirror Interesting gizmo. My new Durly disc trucker won't take a mirror on the handlebars so a good product. I bought another for my everyday bike. Fits OK but as I usually have a bag on that bikes carrier it obstructs the reflection. I now have a more conventional handlebar end mirror for that bike. 01 December 2015
