Halfords Rechargeable Bike Light SetBatteries are so very last year. If you want a light set that shuns them, you need the Halfords Rechargeable Bike Light Set! They recharge by USB, and feature high, low, and flashing modes. On flashing mode, the front light has a run time of 8 hours, and the rear has a run time of 5 hours - more than enough time to get you home, even on Friday at 5pm.

Halfords Rechargeable Bike Light Set is rated out of 5 by 14.Rated 4 out of 5 by LDNRider from Lost light. I bought these on specific recommendation from a Halfords employee but after my third day of using them on largely flat terrain, as I finished my journey to work, I realised the rear light had fell from its cradle and been lost. Really would not expect to have to fork out £25 every few days just to have my bike seen in darkness. They are clearly not fit for purpose as bikes are inevitably going to ride a bump here and there, and the light cradles should enable such movement whilst keeping the lights secure.Date published: 2018-03-19Rated 2 out of 5 by dhales from Great bright light but has down falls The lights are bright and look solid and well built but unfortunately on the way to work I lost the rear light as the quick release bracket is to easy to release on bumpy ground well I say bumpy ground but my route to work is pretty flat paths I didn't even hear the light fall. which is a real shame because I was really happy with the lights now left me wondering if I should buy them again to replace the rear light.Date published: 2018-02-09Rated 1 out of 5 by Nick768 from lost on first outing was originally pleased with the design until I took it out for my first ride and lost the front light on a "not too bumpy" routeDate published: 2018-01-31Rated 1 out of 5 by Loll69 from Complete waste of money as fall out of the bracket. Got talked into these ones by Halfords staff. Yes indeed they are very bright, however the back light fell out of the bracket in on the 2nd day, it must have turned off when it hit the ground as i couldnt find it, so that money wasted. If you cycle on bumpy ground like most cycle paths are avoid these lights at all costs as you will loose them.Date published: 2018-01-30Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from AVOID THIS PRODUCT I lost the rear light on my first outing and the security of the front light does not fill me with confidence either. This item should be discontinued.Date published: 2018-01-23Rated 5 out of 5 by JanSWE from Great light, needs a bit extra to keep it on Great light, as bright as ones 4 times the price, but it falls out of the bracket. Factoring in the extra cost of the required rubber band, gaffa tape or cable tie still leaves you some pocket change to spend on something else.Date published: 2018-01-06Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Waste of Money A poor product. Lost my Front Light in the first week. The cradle the lights sit in are suitable. Please Avoid. These should be discontinued.Date published: 2017-12-14Rated 4 out of 5 by Kraeto77 from Rechargeable lights I like the power these lights have. They seem to be strong construction and have intense focus which is helpful as I have to travel through several dark zones on my ride home. The battery has been ok but I don't use them for long journeys so I haven't truly tested them. The mounting rig is very basic using rubber stretch grommets. I have seen in other reviews that they have fell off which is not good. However for my purposes, that's is 2 miles a day minimum they do what I need them to do and do it well. I will probably adapt own own rig system as I am worried they might fall off. I would buy another set though as the light they provide is very good for utter darkness. I would advise though taking the lights off when not using your bike and keep them at room temperature for the majority of time. Several led lights I have had have failed/ degraded due to condensation getting inside the light housing over time in the coldest weather. I'm charging them for first time tonight, when low the button turns red. Which is a good indicator. They require different charging connections, main beam requires USB/mini USB connection. Red light requires direct fit to USB charger. I am using iPad USB charger so it's pretty quick charge. I have only had light for almost two weeks so please check other reviews but so far i'm happy with them.Date published: 2017-11-27
