Boardman Track Pump is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 5 out of 5 by AllTheNicknamesAreTaken from Outstanding. Reliable. Dependable I purchased this pump to supply an air tank of 19 litres, as I did not want to be reliant on having an electrical supply. It works brilliantly: it is able to reach the 120psi I require, albeit with a lot of pumps - about 800 or so. Great for a workout, not so great for speed but that is down to it's application. For a road bike - I'd guess about 15 pumps.Date published: 2017-06-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Deadman691 from Track pump Easy to swop from one valve to another.movable ring on outside of gauge so easy to pump up to correct pressure can pump up car tyres as well as bike easy to pump up to 100+ psiDate published: 2017-02-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Drpepper99uk from A very good everyday Track pump.... I bought this track pump after changing my road bike tyres to some Vittoria Corsa G+ and based upon my rider weight 92kgs it was calculated that I'd need to run a pressure of at least 120psi to have a decent and safe pressure to run my race tyres. My previous pump a Beto was a cheap and cheerful affair, the gauge was questionable in its accuracy and worse still it was a nightmare to pump anything over 100PSI without feeling like you'd give yourself a hernia due to the reletivly short stroke range and iffy base feet support. Another compounding issue with the Beto was the awful, rubbish dual head which had a nasty habit of leaking air on priests valves and also bending the bleed pins when removing the lock lever....I ended up having to use a schrader to priests valve adapter to overcome this problem and this is where this Boardman pump comes in... 0-120PSI is very easy, nice stable feet base and long stroke for easy pumping with nice contoured handle. Another bonus is the bleed button incase you overfill and it locks on nice and tight and also has a nice long hose which helps. The gauge is big and clear and accurate( confirmed with a Schwalbe digital pressure gauge) it can also work with Schrader valves and Dunlop ones too...this really is a well thought out design and well worth £30 of anyone's money despite it being Boardman branded which can and does raise eyebrows amongst fellow riders in both positive and negative views.Date published: 2016-09-25Rated 4 out of 5 by MarathonGirl from Does the job Not the best value product but more aesthetically pleasing the many pumps on the market. Does the job, would buy again.Date published: 2016-08-19Rated 3 out of 5 by Swisstoni from Boardman Track Pump. Won this in a competition on the Facebook page. Had to have them replace it as the gauge reads 25psi before you start pumping. Tested it against other sources and it ended up wrong by 20 psi on a 40 psi tyre. Looks and feels great quality. No problems with the replacement though. Just check the needle is set to zero! Even the one in this advert is wrong!Date published: 2016-07-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Claireabelle from Great Track pump We tried 2 pumps that were a little cheaper before buying the Boardman Track Pump. They had an interchangeable valve that didn't impart the air pressure very well. So we bought this one as it has a variable valve, so it suits both Presta and Schrader valves, without any adjustments. What a vast improvement. My son loves this pump, so quick and easy to use and inflates the tyre really quickly.Date published: 2016-07-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice build quality Needed a no nonsense pump for the workshop. Popped into local Halfords to have a look around. This one caught my eye in the sense it has a cast metal base with old school styling. The quality of the valve attatchment is excellent, also made of metal. Simply unscrew the large knurled end, turn it around and screw back in for the different valve options. Excellent sealing on the valve along with an accurate gauge makes this pump a great alternative for those wishing to steer away from the more common plastic pumps. Very happy customer.Date published: 2016-07-02
