  • halfords tube seal 250ml

If you're fed up of swapping over inner tubes each time you get a puncture, then try Halfords Tube Seal. Squeeze this gunk into your tube, fit it back on and spin the wheel a few times and you're sorted. Should you get a puncture the sealant will block up the hole, keeping the air in.

Halfords tube seal 250ml extra info

    • Seals hundreds of punctures
    • Install and forget
    • Sufficient for two tyres
    • Suitable for Schrader (car type) valves only
    • With a few revolutions of the wheel the tyre will be completely protected against many tyre tread punctures up to 3mm in diameter

Side wall punctures and larger holes will not be sealed by any tube sealant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of money I got this as my local bike shop didn't have any sealant. So I went for the cheaper Halfords option. It sealed nothing and was not only a waste of the money I paid but also the fuel in my car to drive to the shop. Yet alone the time wasted messing around. Avoid this stuff at all costs. 19 August 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Did not work with tiny puncture I bought this product so that I would not have to carry patches, tyre levers or spare tubes. After only three months my tyre and tube were pierced by a small thorn (which can be quite sharp when old and dry). The tube seal failed to seal the pucture when I was 10 miles from home and despite repeated attempt to pump up the tyre, no rideable pressure could be attained. It is my opinion that Halfords Tube Seal is too thin, so do not waste your money 28 October 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by 'If it seems to good to be true' I was quite excited to find a product to save me time and effort when a puncture occurs, possibly saving whole pain of removing tyre & submerging inner-tube onto a bowl of water. However product does not come will any visual instructions, although with a bit of comman sense is quite easy to use. (using metal fitting to unscrew inner valve inner first, before attaching tube attached to Tube Seal and squirting liquid contents into tyre which appeared quite runny) After pumping tyre up soon after and spinning wheel round to ensure Tube Seal liquid was evenly spread inside, tyre stayed inflated. I left bike overnight and rode bike the next morning ten minutes up the road to work - no problems. Unfortunately 8 hours later when returning home tyre was flat again. Now used traditional method of fixing puncture with patches & glue - took me half an hour but its fixed properly. 02 April 2011
