Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.Rated 4 out of 5 by PDMK1 Pleased with purchase Sturdy, comfortable, possibly a bit too heavy, but ideal for me. 19 January 2017Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve2881971 Platform pedals Poor quality but inexpensive.you get what you pay for 10 December 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Kelkin73 Good straight forward pedal with deceptively large surface area Strong & good looking pedal which complements my Shimano cranks. 22 October 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Max117 Great pedals One of the plastic pedals fell off my old bike and broke so i got these as a replacement and the grip and feel of the pedals is much better. My only problem is that the paint comes off easily as after the bike fell when resting against something a lot of paint came off but they are good quality as i accidentally scrapped the curb with them and besides scuffing they were very sturdy. Well worth buying for the price. 11 October 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Caber Halfords Alloy Platform Bike Pedals Robust and easy to fit. Much better than the resin equivalents! 06 June 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Ray1W Good, solid pedals Nice wide platform, so can be used with any shoes which is just what you need for a "do anything" bike. Great value too. OK, so they're not the lightest pedals around, but weight is not a primary consideration for me, I need reliability. Don't waste money on cheaper, resin pedals, they WILL break eventually. These are a much better bet. It would be nice if they were offered in a wider choice of colours, but I guess black goes with everything. Staff at Brentwood store always a pleasure to deal with. 11 December 2015Rated 4 out of 5 by Steaky Quick fix, satisfied. Heading out to the local DH circuit and after arriving found a bearing had become noisy in my Hope F20 flats and not having a spare bearing set with me and not wanting to ruin £120 of pedal by riding it "rough" saw me make a quick trip to the local Halfords shop (Only place open on a Sunday within reasonable distance from the DH place) to get the cheapest flat pedal to see me through the day. Worth the £15 to continue riding. Long term, unsure - They're spares in the van now, but did the job I wanted on the day. Grip wise, not fantastic (I'm used to adjustable height studs, and plenty of them!) but I did have the confidence in them to perform even when thrown in at the deep end of an 8 foot drop off. To sum up, Great emergency pedals, but I wouldn't want to give them death like I do my Hope's. 05 December 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Tim9 Good Value A good solid pedal for the price, Good Value for money. 21 September 2015
