The Pendleton Somerby Electric Bike is an electric powered version of our Pendleton Somerby with a 3 power motor that makes pedalling feel effortless, allowing for those leisurely rides in your spare time. With a low step through frame, getting onto the bike is made simple. The style and colour of this bike will make sure you stand out from the crowd, whilst the built in mudguards and chainguard will protect your clothes - so you and the bike will both look great. Includes a luggage rack and a sprung, leather style saddle for comfortable riding.

This bike has changed that I can go anywhere now it is so easy and painless. It is as some have mention a heavy bike but you get used to moving it around . I have had this bike for just over 2 weeks now and wish I bought it sooner. I commute by bike and travel 7.5 miles a day and even though it's not far I was fed up of getting to work all sweaty but not anymore. I use this bike on its high setting at all times to feel the full effect of having an electric bike and have done 40-45 miles on one charge. When setting off you can feel it pulling you along, so you can get out at junctions and roundabouts quicker. The best part is going up hills, I used to have to stand up to cycle over a bridge but now I can glide over it as if I was on a flat road. The price was great and I got it through the cycle scheme which was dealt with very quickly so I could pick it up within a couple of days. Alot of people think your lazy getting an electric bike but I think people assume you don't need to peddle. I always feel like I'm getting good exercise but without the sweat, it's just like cycling in a low gear. It is easy to put together, but we took advantage of the free build from Halfords which was worthwhile. The gears are excellent and smooth changing. The battery is more powerful than I thought and gives a lot of support even in the lowest mode. It is reassuring that, as sonn as you stop pedalling, the battery turns off making stopping very easy.
