Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.Rated 4 out of 5 by Rgover Review I have had this bike for less than 6 months and the rear cogs have cracked, and when first got it, only some of the gears worked 07 July 2016Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheesynutsack1 ... Chain keeps coming off and unless you are cycling on fresh smooth tarmac it is very bumpy ride. Great for getting up hills with ease though and overall good value for money as its cheap. 19 June 2016Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Reasonable price/quality Decent bike, gets the job done. Been using it for about a week without major problems. The gear system could be improved though, at times it's difficult to change gears or they don't move at all. 18 June 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsPeach01 Great value for kids who are inbetween sizes Bought this for my sons 10th birthday, he's really happy with it and so are we. It's ideal for kids and young teenager. Probably not for cycling to work and back long distance every day but then again, if this is what you do, you should really know that already. Nice and light too which is an advantage and really couldn't complain at the price. Service from Burton on Trent staff was great too, they're always very helpful so thank you x 03 June 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by dee8837 great value for money. solid bike, good aesthetically too. Very pleased. Great value for money, good solid bike..looks great too! 16 May 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by OMAYD Great bike for a 'returning' cyclist! This product was purchased after much on-line and in store research. It has proven to be comfortable and reliable and has been admired by a family member who is a serious cyclist. This hybrid bike seems to be ideal for its intended purpose which is a mix of short to medium journeys on both road and track surfaces. Twist gear change is good and 18 gears more than adequate. Overall, a pleasing product. 16 May 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by 12customer very poor materials i cycle about 15-20 miles per week, and as i bought it in summer, it hardly ever caught any rain. still every metal part was deeply rusty within 5-6 months. when i bought it in to replace the parts staff told me i was better off buying a new one 24 March 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Selly99 Decent piece of kit for the price Had this bike for a year now, and I must say I've very pleased with it. Having had an Apollo Feud prior to the Mentor, and wrecking the Feud in under 9 months, I was a little skeptical as to whether the Mentor would be good enough. So far, it's proved itself perfectly capable of handling most things thrown its way. Though, it must be said, there are a couple of noticeable issues. It's rate of mechanical degradation is fairly poor, wearing out parts fairly quickly. Also, it could do with more gears. 21 March 2016
