Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 169 reviewers.Rated 1 out of 5 by George444 Don't buy this Since I bought it I've been 4 times back to halfords to fix something , the chain snapped , two flat tyres in 4 days just to work and back and only riding on the street , gears not changing right , brakes rubbing in the tyres , just awful bike. 27 April 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by totofromfrance Apollo Transfer This bike is perfect to cycle to work, it is a real pleasure. 16 May 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by AlexP DON'T GET IT Bought it 6 weeks ago and had to take the bike back to the shop at least once a week. Issues with the freewheel (which already had to be changed) and a continuous metal scraping sound at the front crankset which hasn't been fixed. The staff has been very helpful but the ongoing comment is "well, it's a cheap bike for a reason" First bike I bought in the UK and already regretting it. Don't waste your money on it! 21 March 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by cparsons21 Awful Bought the bike to get to and from work and around a very small town, Kings Lynn. Build quality was awful! Both pedals began to crack handle bars constantly become lose, seat would always fall back to lowest position brake both fell of off the wheel, one wheel buckled as I had to brake hard to avoid hitting a child. DO NOT GET THIS. 13 February 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Targaza Amazing bike Lots of bike for fantastic value for money, Great for purpose. Cannot fault it. 27 March 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by HarryRobertD 1 month in and almost unusable I bough this bike for a short (2 mile each way) commute to work. As it was so short I thought I could get away with a cheap bike. I was wrong. The bike itself was as expected - poor build quality, hard to pedal, noisy and squeaky, but these I could deal with. The Halfords build quality was abysmal. On my first daily commute I noticed that changing the rear gear selector into 5th from 6th without going via 4 would mean the chain falls off all together (happened on average 4 times in two miles). The front gear selector broke all together on the second day and I was left unable to put the chain back on and needing to push home. Originally the brakes rubbed on parts of the wheel, but stopping power was okay. Now the rear brakes don't rub, or provide much breaking and the front brakes are just about usable but run for 1/2 minutes after each time you use them (in essence, try not to brake!). After around a month of commuting I have noticed a slight wobble of the front wheel, however nothing major. Long story short, the bike is cheap for a reason if you are planning on doing more than 2 miles or using a bike more than once a week don't get this bike. After the amount of fixes and adjustments I have had to make in my first month and general build quality I will also be steering well clear of Halfords when buying my next bike (which will inevitably have to be very shortly)! 10 February 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by fahim100 good bike This is a good bike in this price. Its light bike with good speed. 23 March 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by James89norwich Great service The bike is great and just what i needed for a short ride to work. The service was great. All staff very helpful. When i collected the bike i also bought a lock. On the day the staff member forgot to give me the keys to the lock. A member of staff kindly posted them through my door that evening. Above and beyond. Thank you halfords dereham staff. 27 February 2016
