Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 273 reviewers.Rated 3 out of 5 by oddjobbob99 Good value but you probably can get better for a little more This is a bit tricky. Had my feud for a couple of years now when purchased at a higher price. Therefore for current price you probably couldn't go wrong...or could you. Build quality is ok but perhaps more of a concern is the component quality. Bottom bracket failed within a year and have forever had the front break squeak issues which is still bad. Also, may be related to front squeak, the front suspension has a noticeable amount of lateral play so probably in need of attention or replacing. The concern is have had other Apollo mtbs over the years at a similar price that have never had these issues. Seat is comfortable and ride is smooth although gearing is a little low when in higher gears. Based on my experience and other reviews would avoid if you are after a bike to use for many years. 22 May 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by Disgusted123 Great bike. Appalling service from Harlow. Bike is fine now.... If I hadn't been sold it with a puncture and had to take it back to another branch -Bishops Stortford - I would never have known how badly the bike had been assembled by Harlow. Nothing had been greased. The break cables had to be replaced. The gears and paddles weren't set up correctly. The handlebars were lose. Absolutely shocking and appalling. 11 June 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Leechpool3 Son's Apollo My son loves his new bike. We've had a few teething problems but Halfords sorted them out for us with no problems. 11 June 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by MadWeeStevo1 Horrible Bike This bike is heavy, has a terrible drivetrain, has cheap components throughout and the rear axle broke requiring an entire replacement wheel costing £48. However the staff in the Dumbarton store were extremely friendly and helpful. 12 April 2016Rated 2 out of 5 by Fm101 Good features for the price but terrible overall Nice design but terrible drive train, brakes and suspension. Also can't adjust saddle height without a screwdriver which is annoying. The wheels are not so bad, I did not get any punctures. The staff at the Whetstone store are nice but they could have done a much better job on adjusting the brakes because they are very squeaky. I would recommend this as a first bike for anyone under 13 because the design suits younger kids. 07 April 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by Killa23 Poor bike This bike is Rubish I rode it on my first ride the breaks busted the wheels where squeaky and it completely failed my expectations. A waste of 100 pounds. 06 March 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by Menders81 Poor Bike I got this bike to cycle to work and back. It had issues from the start, ranging from bottom bracket to gears to wheels. After many many months backwards and forwards to Halford, they decided to offer a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement is poor also. The bike was very poor, and the customer service was poor. I don't think it is too much to expect a cycle specialist to be able to provide an entry-level cycle that's of good quality. 27 February 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Grumpyoldman61 Basic but good ride to work bike Bought my Apollo feud from the Weston-super-Mare branch, to use as my main ride-to-work bike. My route consists of road, track and cycle path. The bike is easy and pleasant to ride, the brakes work well and the gears change nicely. The paintwork is good for a budget bike, but the decals have started to peel off after a couple of months. Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised by the feel of the bike considering its relatively low price. I would recommend this bike 27 December 2015
