Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by GavinNewbie Newbie review: excellent bike It was either going to be the aluminium FS or the Carbon hardtail. I'm glad I went for the latter. The bike is so light! The sweetener was the 15% off.. Halfords was flexible and helpful when ordering. 18 August 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by MHill EXCELLENT!! Firstly would like to take the time to thank the staff involved with my bike James & Adam @ Mansfield store 0900. Yes the products great but these guys were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, i wasn't sure what I wanted or needed but after talking to these guys who clearly know their stuff I got the product that I needed for the purpose I needed it for. So my 5* are for the help and patience and the 5* service I have received. Thanks guys keep up the good work .... one happy customer!!! M.Hill :-) 28 May 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Sidebear Lovley bike The bike is a great ride I've not anything to hard on it yet just some basic easy riding but the response of the bike is great, I'm confused to why the bike is Matt black and the handle bars are a gloss black? 11 July 2015Rated 4 out of 5 by bookman99 great bike It's a good value carbon fibre mountain bike. It looks great and is very light. The ride is incredibly smooth once you get used to the 650b wheel size which feels a bit slow from a standing start. My only complaint about this bike is the saddle. It's really uncomfortable (too wide at the back). I have been biking for years on racers and MTBs and never had such an uncomfortable saddle. I'm swapping mine out. apart from that I would have given it five stars. 10 June 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by whinlatter Best Buy after doing my homework Firstly, cards on the table - I'm a novice MTBer After a couple of years on the roads I was keen to keep biking over the Winter. I did my homework, reviews etc and these brought my attention to the 29er. However, those in the know suggest the 650b is the future. I waited for the '14 models to come down in price, but otherwise big brands didn't come close to delivering the spec of this bike for the price. So I went for it with 10% off - great value. The service from the Penrith Halfords has been first class (I bought my road bike from local specialist and build standard/servicing fall short of what the Halford's team delivered). The bike feels great (tho' remember my experience is limited, so not a lot to compare against, other than my cyclocross). I've bashed it about mercilessly and it's very forgiving! and I'm having great fun. You get what you pay for, and sometimes you think 'I did well there'! 09 December 2014Rated 5 out of 5 by Phil500 My review It's the best mountain bike I have ever had, and I've had a few 05 December 2014Rated 5 out of 5 by CHague50 Light Weight Rocket Had the bike 10 weeks now, over 400 miles done cuffed to bits with it. Only small problem after second ride out bottom bracket loosened off sightly took it back to Halfords they fixed there and then. Its certainly a head turner. Love it 28 November 2014Rated 5 out of 5 by DaDon Fantastic, light and fast bike - very understated This is my 2nd Carbon HT and very happy with it (as was with the previous model). The redesigned frame allows more weight to be rearward allowing it to manual with ease but still keeps the front planted on the climbs. The only weakness is the rear drop out, the metal c shaped piece to protect the carbon has been drilled through and weakened for the mech hanger. Previous model had same problem, it is less intrusive this time but still a weakness 20 November 2014
