Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by MATTHEW1989 MATTHEW1989 Boardman Mountain Bike Team Full Suspension 650B a super bike, cool and modern style frame with accessories SRAM X-7 is very good and well it rides 19 November 2015Rated 4 out of 5 by Napier Good bike not sure about service. I ordered on-line but collected from the Speke store, what was their last display model. It was to have been checked and serviced ready for collection. However, when I got it home the rubber dust and oil seal on the top of one of the front fork suspension points was moving up the leg when the suspension was compressed. After a struggle I managed to get it back in its seating, time will tell if this lasts. Not sure why it wasn't noticed or even if it was checked before collection. 30 November 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Robyorks Excellant Bought today on C2W scheme. Only done a few test miles on trail and a forest downhill, feels so solid and secure, brakes are amazing, need to set up the forks and suspension now I'm only 140lbs so taking some doing. The guys and girl at my local store were fantastic , going above and beyond to find me the bike in an 18" frame. The bike they found had a very slightly scratched fork, they took 10% off and even touched up the paint. The bike was built perfectly and they know there stuff. Thanks Andy and seren. 23 September 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Great bike and service Bought my 650B FS after much deliberation but ultimately, there wasn't anything that came close for the money. I've had it around a month now and it's been great and has coped with some fairly hefty rides inc the black route at Glentress. Quality seems good, set up was spot on and it's not given any issues. My only gripes... the pedals are garbage but that's to be expected, I changed mine to Boardman flats. It could also benefit from from a slightly more granny spec granny gear for long climbs and on steep climbs, due to the set back on the seat post it tends to get a bit light at the front. Time will tell how it stands up to prolonged abuse but a few so far, it's all good. The Bikehut guys at the Dunfermline and Hermiston Gait stores were great too. Job well done all round. 05 November 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim112 Excellent performance bike Great suspension, supple ride and smooth strong brakes. Really glad i decided to buy this bike, i am very please with my purchase. 02 November 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by 1956372 boardman mtb I would strongly recommend this bike it is a all round good bike 14 September 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Nathan1982 Boardman power! I've done approx 300 miles on his bike now. Although I know this bike has some flaws I can't seem to get off it! I love it! Lovely bike to ride and excellent value for money. I've changed a few things to enhance the bike however the standard issued parts are adequate enough. I've fitted new pedals and saddle which make the bike abit lighter and also fitted wider riser bars which give it I feel a much nicer riding position. Had no issues atall with the gears once I'd set them up and fine tuned them. The brake perform amazing but do require adjustment every few rides. I suffered from the usual creaking from suspension pivots at the start however greased the pivots and the noise gradually faded away and is silent now. Suspect a bedding in issue. The tyres are the grippiest and seem to wear quick. I think 1000 miles and they will be shot so I will be upgrading then. Possibly to some wider ones and a tubeless setup. Fancy a dropper seatpost aswell . LOVE THIS BIKE !!! I HAVE OWNED BIKES DOUBLE PRICE OF THIS ONE AND NOT HAD HALF AS FUN 05 August 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by snoopylo Decent pedals would make this bike perfect. Just had my six week service & everything is fine, had a few creaks from the joints in the frame when first purchased but fine now,,took it back after two weeks as the front derailer needed adjusting,, thought,, it had sheared teeth from the crank too but apparently its part of the design,,rear brake dosnt seem so sharp as when new but probably needs cleaning,,thought the saddle was fine as other reviews suggested changing it & pedals need changing definitely, worth getting a high pressure pump for rockshocks though I've set my rear at 230 psi & feels great,i agree with the reviews saying tyres are not the best,,set at 50 psi i took 5 psi out of both & it does seem to give extra grip,,not great in mud though, all in all a great bike for the money, can't fault it 11 July 2015
