Bronx Bolt Womens 26in Wheel 21 Speed Dual Suspension Mountain Bike
The Bronx Bolt Womens 26in Wheel 21 Speed Dual Suspension Mountain Bike features a 21 speed Shimano indexed gear system which provides the correct gear for the steepest terrain. Gear change is easy with just a twist of the rotational grip shifters. The Bolt is equipped with front and rear cable actuated disc brakes, good in all conditions. The wheels are 36 spoked lightweight alloy and feature a quick release front hub. Up front is a pair of suspension forks which helps iron out the bumps. All this neat gear sits on a high tensile steel frame with oversize tubing and an adjustable rear suspension shock unit. And just to help keep you dry, a set of front and rear suspension specific fenders.

Bronx Bolt Womens 26in Wheel Mountain Bike is rated out of 5 by 1.Rated 1 out of 5 by KatiePotatie from Worst Bike Ever Having not ridden a bike in nearly 20 years I thought it was about time that I dipped my toe into the waters of mountain biking. As I wasn't 100% sure I'd like riding a bike I really didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I opted to buy the Bronx Bolt as it looked okay and specs online seemed ideal for what I wanted. But oh dear oh dear, how wrong was I? First off the bike came fully UN-assembled but with no build instructions whatsoever. I could barely tell the front wheel from the back wheel so had to enlist the help of my dad (a keen mountain biker and former marine engineer) to help me assemble it. This would have been a quicker task had he not had to completely re-align the front wheel as the spokes were all bent and out of place. Thankfully as my dad is pretty good with most things mechanical, he assembled the bike and got it up and running for me. Whilst it was stood leaning against the wall waiting to be ridden it looked pretty good, but as soon as I took it out that beautiful façade dropped. Here are a few things which make this bike so epically terrible: 1. It weighs 1000lb's...this bike is literally the heaviest thing since Dark Matter. 2. The gears shift of their own accord...all the time. Trying to ride in second gear? Nope, the Bolt wants you in ether first or third...perfect for when you're riding up Cragg Vale and really need that momentum! 3. The suspension...don't even get me started on this point as I don't have the characters to enumerate on my rage. 4. Switching gears...if you want to attempt to go into second you have to jump all the way to third, then drop back into second. You can't even consider second gear from first...the bike has a process you know. I literally could continue on about all the things I hate about this bike but what's the point, I think you might have the gist of it by now. It's no wonder this bike is a 'Web Exclusive'...the stores are probably too embarrassed to stock it, a bit like my embarrassment at purchasing this monstrosity. One piece of advice on this bike? Don't buy it...spend a bit more and save yourself a world of pain with this piece of junk.Date published: 2017-09-05
