Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by Neialli FANTASTIC BIKE Bought the original rigid steel Lava Dome back in the mid eighties....back then it was Kona's slightly upper mid-range bike. It was quite expensive then, £450, for what you got compared to today's VFM offerings. However, fell in love on test ride in Reigate and the affairs still going strong despite owning other more expens / sophisticated higher-end offerings. Kona bikes are suck FUUUUN to ride ,its how the handle that cuts it and the frames are g'teed for life. Go treat yourself ( or your best mate.....they'll luv ya fer life ) 23 March 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by topshot1 excellant value for the money top quality bike for the best price on the internet would highly reccommend 15 February 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Joey1983 awesome bike great price Can't go far wrong with kona not a high end model but more than sufficient for work very very happy 28 November 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Adam3980192 Brilliant Bought this just yesterday in store, 21" with 29" wheels, it feels so light when riding, offers no resistance at all - did feel a bit wobbly at first as I'm used to a bike which drags to move. Gears change smoothly, the brakes are immense as you would expect from hydraulics and large discs. Forks offer a large travel and can be adjusted - they can go amazingly soft. My only gripe - after riding it for just 12 miles my buttocks are in real pain. The seat is like a brick (I wasn't sat for 12 miles I muse add). 01 October 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Humblepie A bike for all occasions I have had this bike for a week now, and I can't wipe the smile of my face she rides so smoothly gear changes are a doddle no crunching or slipping like some new bikes I have owned. I look forward to riding her and at the price I paid she is an absolute bargain. 26 September 2015Rated 4 out of 5 by Bam66 Very good for the price I was looking for a decent MTB with good frame and components for general trail riding and knocking about, and this fits the bill perfectly. If you really want to race up and down real mountains day in day out this won't suit, but for general fun riding this bike is ideal. 23 September 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Loz80 Great bike! Just cycled back from the store on this bike. I'm not an expert and it's my first bike for 20 years. But I'm stoked with how easy it was, light frame easily adaptable. 13 July 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by IIIPABSIII Great bike Well built and light. My 1st bike since I was 16. I wasnt disappointed. 13 July 20151-8 of 8
