Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by gray1706 new to biking Having only bein cycling a few month and bein 5ft 10 & 17stone I 1st brought the carrera tdf which after buying realized that it had gear issues which made hills a big problem, so I allmost give up, but I brought this carrera & what a difference between them its a dream 01 February 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by lend13 Great bike brilliant bike for the price range, fast and light. 01 January 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Saeed2 Good value for money It's nice, fast, light, good quality and has a good ride. You get more than what you pay for. 28 January 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by JDrunningman Does exactly what it says in the tin (or catalogue) I got this bike less than 24 hours before doing my first duathlon and boy was I glad I did. Having practiced the distances involved the week before on my mountain bike the week before, the transition into the second run was so much easier with this bike. Transition one was a little ropey as I had a little trouble getting the feet into the toe clips, different peddles will cure this hopefully. Having done a dual format event since where the run and cycle were separate results, I had already won the 10km race, I lost out a bit on the cycle with another slow bit getting the feet into the pedals, good pedals with easy to get the feet into the toe clips will make it a brilliant bike. Its acceleration and ability to corner at speed are nicely scary and almost pull wheelies accelerating as it is light. Have hit 58kph top speed, not bad for a 52 year old!! Couldn't get quite up to 50kph on the mountain bike. Bike has had its six week check in Wexford branch and raring to be used for some winter use. In store advice and customer care couldn't have been better, Thanks Gavin and the gang. 22 November 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Great road bike. A fantastic road bike, easy to ride and get used to. 16 gears is certainly enough to get yourself up any hill that I've been on, even when you hit rock bottom. Recently crashed, through no fault but my own awareness, and the bike got away unscratched. Change the pedals though! 08 October 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark5292 Great Bike I purchased this bike several months ago with the aim of getting myself fitter so far i have covered about 400 miles without any problems I suggest removing the cage peddles and fitting a decent set of clipless ones as i have done, So far really pleased 07 October 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam010 Brilliant Brilliant bike, bought this when it was on offer, well built and looks nice and had no problems so far, but I would recommend taking off the toe cages or getting new pedals with it. 26 September 2015Rated 5 out of 5 by papnickpaw fantastic bike i am 13- had the bike 2 month now. done just over 1,000 miles on it, never missed a beat. I was new to road bikes, and this bike has secured me in the market in the future for another road racer. would definetley recommend. oh and by the way, even if you are just below what the chart recommends for a 54cm frame, still go for the bigger one, makes life so much easier. people seem to not like the pedals, but I got used to them after a few hours, literally 09 September 2015
