Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 113 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by DPRoadBike First road bike I purchased this bike yesterday and is my first road bike. I have to say it looks great and feels very good quality. i was a bit unsure how the seating position would be but to be honest it felt fine after the first few miles. the bike feels solid, smooth gear changes and i got used to the brake lever shift system very quickly too. this is just an observation from not ever using a road bike before but for all you mountain bike riders out there the difference in performance particularaly going up hill is tremendous, so easy by comparison. I've only done 8 miles in my first trip from halfords home and then a 2 mile commute to work this morning but I'm really impressed so far. one thing i would say is you will get saddle sore as its a completely different sitting position but I've been assured this will pass after a week or so. only slight negative is the pedal clips take a bit of getting used to. would recommend this bike. 26 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Jupety The grip is magnificent and it rides so swiftly. This bike is amazing it has amazing features it's got an excellent grip. It's excellent going racing with. I would 10000% for you to get this bike. Not only that it has a magnificent bright colour perfect for summer because of all the summery colours if your really interested in bikes and bike racing look at this bike. 25 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by DANDYDAN Excellent bike For less than 200 quid this bike is a bargain. Smooth gear changes, responsive brakes and lightweight aswell. The pedal straps are not great but do the job. I would recommend this bike highly if you are wanting to get into cycling. 22 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Con25323 Amazing! This is my first ever road bike and I was shocked when I first road it out of the shop today! The only thing I would say is if you have currently switched from a mountain bike take off the clips so u don't get ur feet stuck 10 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by DrLisa Love this fast bike. Great value for money. This is a fast bike. No problems with it whatsoever. Really impressed. 10 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Chrissyboy69 Fabulous bike Bought this about three weeks ago for £219. What an absolute bargain!!! Always had mountain bikes or hybrids in the past, but started cycling to work so felt I needed to buy a road bike. I'm now absolutely addicted! I cycle 20 miles to work on it each day, and today I did a 65 mile ride and the bike was superb. As mentioned in other reviews, the pedals are complete rubbish, but hey, who cares? The rest of the bike more than makes up for it. The more experienced riders might point out that the components aren't top of the range, but my view is the wheels go round, the gears go up and down and the breaks help you to stop! Would highly recommend this bike for entry level or anyone on a budget. 07 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Jayk123 Great starter bike You can't knock this bike for its price, it does everything I could ask for and it looks really nice aswell 26 July 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Scoines1989 Fantastic Value - Great for Beginners and Intermediates I brought this bike back in May and took my time before writing a review. I'm delighted with the bike overall. It is fantastic value for money! As a first time buyer I was apprehensive about which bike I should go for with a budget of about £350. At the time the bike cost £215 and with good reviews about the brand and this model in particular I went for it. The bike has been brilliant. I have covered miles and miles without fault. The bikes smooth, the gears are easy to use, brakes are sharp and it picks up speed! The only negative are the peddles which can be easily changed. I opted for some STP pedals which were about £35. At less than £200 this bike is perfect, especially for first time buyers. 19 July 2016
