Bikehut 14 Function Cadence Cycle Computer is rated out of 5 by 14.Rated 4 out of 5 by Johnmog from Good basic computer Bought this to fit to my wife's bike purely for it's cadence function whilst we use indoor trainer over winter. It works well so no complaints there. However the fork attachment for the other functions is a bit clunkey and not convinced it will stay put in rough and muddy terrain but have not tested this as yet.Date published: 2017-02-07Rated 1 out of 5 by KevS23 from Don't buy First one was replaced because it stopped working after about 6 months, now the Mode button on the replacement only works intermittently after 5 rides. Seems to easily drop into Key mode which requires a full reset. Useless.Date published: 2016-11-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good value Like all bike computers it takes a bit of setting up. Components seem to be of good quality and plenty of cable ties and o rings supplied. Got everything working ok, it is best to read the instructions carefully and take your time to fit it and set it up. I mounted it on the handlebar stem and it is easy to read and looks pretty neat. Seems pretty accurate too. I don't know yet how well it will work in wet conditions and how it will last but so far so good.Date published: 2016-11-04Rated 1 out of 5 by LondonNick from I wouldn't bother I've found this item a complete joke. The instructions that come with it are some of the worst I have ever seen. Part C in particularly took me about 10 minutes to even work out what part of the bike it was refereeing too. You end up with the unit on your handlebar, a wire that trails down to the peddle sensor, and a wireless receiver and magnet on the front wheel. So far, after investing at least 2 hours of my time into this installation, I am still unable to get the bike to register speed or distance. I've tried everything I can think of, including moving the magnets so close to the receivers that they where practically touching but nothing has worked. Will be returned to the shop for a refund at the first chance I get. Personally, I wanted a device a little more hands free so think I will just spend the little more and get a GPS tracker. This way I will get the information I need, distance, speed etc. with no wires at all. The 'wireless' function on these units is very misleading. Not just a plug and play device.Date published: 2016-08-22Rated 4 out of 5 by Charlie121 from Easy to install, easy to set up I love this, it was as easy as pie to setup if you just have a little bit of bike/engineering knowledge, after 20 minutes, all functions are working and very easy to useDate published: 2016-08-21Rated 2 out of 5 by nightowl999 from Instructions Hopeless, overpriced. As stated by other reviewers the instructions for this item are woeful, the buttons on the rear are a bit awkward, does seem to read the front wheel sensor fairly quickly, there is minimal lag, I do not need the cadence facility, the item was a gift so I have only fitted the front sensor and had to wrap the long cable around the handle bars and cable tie off to try to keep it tidy, I would just snip the wire off but not sure if that would affect the other functions, and would invalidate the warranty. If you do not need all the functions of the unit buy another at half the price.Date published: 2016-06-06Rated 1 out of 5 by milman77 from bike hut Disappointed with this item I thought at the price it would some how be better ,the wheel circumfernce setting was wildy in accurate dispiet measuring roll out and the given number in the paperwork meaning I had t to reset numerous times against a known measured course .The reset buttons are a bit difficult to reach meaning most time you take the unit off its clip , th cadence counter is wired so more cable ties , If the milage counter dose settle I will proball be taking this unit back . On the model I would not reccomndDate published: 2016-03-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Every1knowsDave from Excellent and simple Does all the things the others do at half the priceDate published: 2016-01-15
