Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by Steveo656 Great little odometer A great little odometer & cycle computer. Its wireless and at £15 online is a steal. Its very basic but if you have a GPS watch on your wrist like me this gives you a constant read out of your actual speed on the bike. 16 October 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookster1 Cycle Computor This product is a good value computer at £15,ideal for what I wanted, instructions are not the best understood but with a bit of concentration ok,( I am 64 and slowing down). 14 October 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Aarovic Great Value For The Money Ive just started cycling and needed a simple device to track my speed and distance. This product fits the bill perfectly. Im not sure how robust it will prove to be but it does what I want it to do. My only criticism would be that installation is a little fiddly and the instructions are a bit vague with regard to the initial set up. 28 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by tom2h first ever product of this type fitted easy works well, some reviews said too difficult to fit, a simple 10 minutes and done. 18 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Coli70 Excellent cycle computer This cycling computer is excellent.. I got a 3year bike cover plan they fitted it for me. As I'm not good at fixing things on bike..I can't see it being a problem at all ..it's small and neatly compact..I recommend to anyone and price reasonably good..the team at halfords Stockport very good for helping me out...thank you.... 06 July 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by JohnB135 Rapidly stopped working This seemed like a really nice gadget which worked initially but would not auto-start again once it went into full energy saving mode when the bike had not been used for a couple of days. The only way to get it recording again was a full reset including wheel size and clock time (the fact that it would then work proved the detector was not the problem). After resetting a couple of times I realised the unit was obviously faulty and took it back for a refund. I may have been unlucky to get a faulty one but I obviously can't recommend this product. To be fair to Halfords there was no quibble about taking it back and giving a full refund. 04 May 2016Rated 1 out of 5 by Howonearth Rubbish product - transmitter not working. Took 3 hours to fit and followed some great advice on net as it seems many people have had numerous problems with this bike computer. As an electronics engineer I was able to test the components, no power signal from battery to primary circuit of transmitter. At least I could test this specific failure of all the potential causes. Recovered the batteries and spare cable ties just to get some worth out of it, binned the rest. Halfords would have no way of detecting this failure so can only put the root cause at their supplier's quality controls. 24 April 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by brawd Replacement for my 7 function cycle computer If this is as good as my 7 function I'll be well pleased. I think the hieroglyphic instruction set was written in outer space - what a pain. After I'd input the choices and variables I flicked the magnet passed the wheel sensor, but it wouldn't work. The display has to be in the little handlebar nest because that is where the receiving Ariel is. Check by looking at the display. Off the nest the display shows two lines where the speed should be displayed. When you put it on the handlebar nest those lines change to 0.0. Watch out for that. So I put my old 7 function - with new batteries everywhere - back on it's handlebar nest and it worked. Drat! At the store in Bridgend they didn't say to try that, but they really are a helpful bunch there, I guess this has never come up. By the way you can input the odometre reading. So getting back to the computer I hope it's as watertight as the 7 function. I fully expect that it is. I would definitely recommend the 7 function. Missus now has a brand new bike computer on her machine. 25 January 2016
