Find the correct Expansion Valves for your car
When you turn on your air conditioning system and if no cold air blows out. This could be an indicator of any number of problems, but the most common issues is a faulty expansion valve.
The expansion valve is the nerve centre of your car's air conditioning system, lowering the pressure of the refrigerant liquid, which allows it to become vapour, which is then blown across the evaporator and into the car as nice cool air.
This needs to be carefully moderated, with the expansion valve being the 'brain' which controls the pressure of the liquid and the temperature of the air, keeping everything working nicely. If it fails, though, it definitely needs replacing.
You can get replacement parts in your local Halfords store or even order online through the website for collection in-store the next day. The choice is entirely yours.
