    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better material The screws are a nice idea but they are made from amuminium and cannot be screwed into the car body like a self tapping screw. The threads are soft and easy damaged and it is also easy to shear the head off the screw.You will have to use them together with the plastic body inserts that may or may not be fitted my the manufacturer. It would be better if the screws were made from stainless steel.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Secure your Number Plates These are easily fitted, and once on are very difficult to remove. I wanted to change one for different colour, and couldn't budge it as the plastic screwthread virtually wilds itself in.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose. These things are horrible quality and not fit for purpose, the yellow ones are just brass coloured and look awful when on. Now the serious flaw, these things are made from recycled cola cans or something similar and the screws break incredibly easy, easier than the number plate it seems, I now have a screw without a head stuck in the car which will have to be removed with a drill, and no number plate. The metal is so poor the screw removing head just eats through it, requiring me to drill it with a regular metal drill bit and hopefully not ruin the thread. These are the same level of quality as you get in cheap flatpack furniture, not for a secure number plate fixing, and very over priced for the quality of metal.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Anti-theft screws Number plate thefts are on the increase & so's the red tape in buying new number plates, so it makes sense to protect your plates with security screws. These are a good deterrent which are made difficult to grip by having a rotating collar. They are not totally secure because they can be undone without using the two pronged "key" provided, but they are a deterrent...

Once you've sent us your old item we'll check it over, and then refund you the full surcharge as long as everything is ok.

Before you return your old unit please make sure it's in re-serviceable condition. So if you're returning caliper casings, you'll need to double check they aren't badly damaged or broken. If the part you've sent is found to be unserviceable, we reserve the right not to refund the surcharge.
