Simply Window Tint Dark Smoke Film 76x152cm is rated out of 5 by 9.Rated 1 out of 5 by Jtree from Bad Tint Iv done window tints before however i have never had as poor quality tint as this. The film will not conform to ANY curve no matter how hot you get it and is also leaves crease marks everywhere. Went in the bin. Do not buy. Avoid!Date published: 2017-10-09Rated 2 out of 5 by samo40 from Diy Tint Bought this and applied it to the windows off my car with no problems. I recommend you watch the videos on YouTube first and get someone to give you a hand I've saved a £150 buy taking my time and doing it myself.Date published: 2017-07-11Rated 1 out of 5 by Jus123419892976522 from Absolutely rubbish Wanted to tint the back windows of my land rover while they where out even after reading the poor reviews on here I decided I only needed a small amount so how bad could it be?! I kid you not this stuff is truly diabolical it's the thinnest nastiest film you could buy I bought limo black which is at very most a medium smoke not limo black do not waste your money on this inferior product as like most things that say halfords on them it is not worth itDate published: 2017-06-04Rated 1 out of 5 by Chr1s99 from Window tint I tried to apply this a few times and went through the whole sheet, you can't apply this product to the inside or outside without getting either air bubbles or it creasing so does not look good on the car when done. I ended up just peeling it off in the end as it started to peel off itself would not recommend this product.Date published: 2017-05-29Rated 4 out of 5 by Idc1974 from Preparation and patience are the key For anyone that slates this product I would guess they didn't take their time. There are videos available on you tube that show how to apply this. Use a hairdryer to shrink it and it will apply to curved screens. Really, really clean your windows inside and out before doing it. Try to apply on a hot day. If there is the slightest breeze get someone to help hold it so it doesn't crease. The only negative I have is that there is a visible line from the outside where the dots on the screen are. This is nothing to do with the film itself. A quick google search on window frits is all it takes to find out that not a lot can be done about them. A friend of mine paid £159 for pro tints and it looks very good. I paid £15 for this and it's almost as good. I notice where I went wrong but most people wouldn't. It's by far the better option than spending a lot of money.Date published: 2017-05-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Qwertyuiop9999999 from Don't bother! Don't waste your time or money! In the past I've tinted a few car windows and it's always been tricky. This stuff is poor, very hard to apply without creasing and due to newish cars having quite tight window rubbers almost impossible to stick behind. Either buy a sun screen or pay to have windows tinted professionally. Really don't bother!Date published: 2016-07-28Rated 1 out of 5 by jb787 from SHOCKING QUALITY! I was using this film to cover my headlights as I was told that it could be used for this. However, it turned out that the material was poor quality and creased a lot. Would not recommend this product. AVOID IT!Date published: 2016-07-21Rated 1 out of 5 by Laubean from Impossible Very disappointed: Couldn't apply for the life of me, and they state there is an "installation kit" but that was just a small plastic shape for a squeegee. Where is the "blade" that they mentioned?Tried to cut it with a knife but failed, scissors failed too. Ripped when I tried to squeegee, ended up with a big wet mess.Date published: 2016-07-07
