Summit Adhesive Car Mirror Pads is rated out of 5 by 19.Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Rubbish! For a 3m product this is the most useless I have come across. The mirror now shakes when driving, and feels like it will tear away from the glass if I try to adjust it single handed, therefore you have to hold it tightly in place before trying to move the mirror. Value wise, worth about 50p the pair.Date published: 2016-12-28Rated 5 out of 5 by phil98755432 from very sticky These adhesive patches are good. It is holding a camera to my screen and so far it has not come off. It's been in really strong Sun, and high temperatures. I have not experienced cold temperatures since purchase.Date published: 2016-09-09Rated 4 out of 5 by George007 from Does as it says Easy to use, and the pad has held the mirror in place ever since. A good repair to a very annoying problem.Date published: 2016-04-28Rated 1 out of 5 by Moses89 from Poor Comes with two pads, neither of which lasted longer than 3 days. after about 1 day the mirrors begins to shake. After 2 days, it becomes quite violent shaking. After the 3rd day, it either falls off or might as well come off. Do not buy this. Its a wasteDate published: 2016-03-07Rated 1 out of 5 by Nonickname2016 from Adhesive car mirror pads Need a really really light rear view mirror for these to work. They lasted a day, mirror wobbling about, before I took the mirror off as it was coming off anyway.Date published: 2016-01-24Rated 1 out of 5 by rdlk from Expensive and don't work Very expensive for what they are, but wouldn't mind if they did the job, but having taken care to apply them correctly the mirror fell off very the next day. Tried the second pad and that only lasted a couple of days. So, a total waste of time and money.Date published: 2015-07-15Rated 1 out of 5 by DaveinKettering from Absolute rubbish! I bought this pair of pads. They are £4.99 now, maybe they were £3.99 last year I am not sure. Very expensive to two bits of sticky stuff. Anyway, I followed the instructions and the first one would not stick properly to my windscreen. After adjusting it the pad ceased to be sticky. The mirror was vibrating irritatinly, enoughh to give you a headache if you looked in it while driving or even with the vibration from the engine running. The pad was too thick and too soft. It lost its adhesion before almost immediately and ended up as in the first pic. I stuck it on the inside of a roll of tape just to remind myself not to by another one. See pic of first pad. So I tried the second pad. I tried to warm the surfaces more and it stuck OK for some months but still the mirror seemed to vibrate with the car's movement more than I had remembered previously. Anyway, my friend's son fiddled with the mirror last week and it came off. What a crock! Basically it was not sticky any more anyway and there was no chance to get the mirror back on. I should return this junk to the store and demand my money back. It does not encourage me to rush back to Halfords to shop again for my car. Now I have tried the Halfords HFX103 pad at £1.79 instead - that is expensive enough and almost impossible to get the green backing off though the white backing came off easily. So which side is which? There are no instructions whatsoever! .I warmed the mirror attachment before sticking the pad on it. I stuck it on the windscreen and came back into the house this evening. Tomorrow, maybe I will see if the mirror is still on the windscreen in the morning or if it back in the footwell again! Another triumph of modern design - not! Someone got paid to develop this product; that's unbelievable and unfortunate. Maybe just get a mirror with a suction pad instead!Date published: 2015-02-27Rated 1 out of 5 by Malc29er from Summit interior mirror adhesive pads I bought a pack of 2 Summit interior mirror adhesive pads and followed the instructions to the letter. The rear view mirror fell of within 2 hours. Checking comments on this product it seems these pads do not work and are a waste of money.Date published: 2015-01-25
