Find the correct Other Filters for your vehicle
Most cars tend to have a number of different filters fitted to them in order to remove contaminants which might otherwise harm the engine. Generally speaking, there are three kinds of filters. Oil filters work to remove contaminants from motor oil, which tends to get pretty dirty after having passed through the car engine a few times.
Clean oil is vital for a healthy engine. Air filters, on the other hand, remove leaves, twigs and bugs before they get pumped around the engine, which is definitely a good thing, believe us.
Fuel filters work in much the same way, except they trap and remove contaminants from the fuel (usually petrol), stopping them getting into the engine and causing all sorts of nasty damage.
Filters are generally inexpensive to buy and easy to fit without the need to visit a garage, even for those who hate opening the car bonnet, and will help prolong the life of your car.
