Used on a 2009 Exeo TDI with 104k on the clock, latterly used for short round town trips which killed the DPF. It took 4 days of 65 mile commutes to get this cleared but finally the engine management light has cleared - very happy! This worked where a £65.00 garage regeneration failed... 07 October 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Baz82 JOB DONE Engine management light on due to blockes particulate filter added Wynns and after a couple of weeks all done and sorted. Good Product. 01 October 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Alldownhill So far So Good I've had the DPF light on twice in the last 6 months as I no longer do the miles I use to do. The first time I simply took the car for a run keeping the revs above 2000 rpm and the light went out after 20 minutes approx 18 miles. The last time I tried the same again but after 30 minutes and over 25 miles it was still on and running a little lumpy. I had half a tank of fuel and added the bottle, did 5 miles and the DPF light went out as I was on the way to top-up with fuel. Now you can't be sure the DPF was cleared with the chemical solution but the car also seems to run far smoother again. £10 for 325ml does seem a little expensive but cheaper than other possible outcomes. 29 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Jankot I can strongly recommend it! Two and a half years ago I purchased '07 BMW 330d from an auction. On my first drive the car went straight into limp mode and the DPF warning light appeared on the dashboard. I decided to try Wynns DPF cleaner after a chat with a work colleague. After topping up the tank with 40 litters of diesel and adding the whole bottle of Wynns I took the car on to the nearest motorway and drove it at speeds of 70 - 75mph, in the 4th gear for approximately 30 miles. All of a sudden there was a loud bang in the exhaust, the engine stopped, and I could see in the rear view mirror glowing chunks of carbon the car left behind. As I was still on the motorway I put on the hazard warning lights and restarted the engine and drove safely home. Since than I had no issues with the DPF. Just before I sold the car, two months ago the car ECU was showing the DPF replacement time in 17000 miles. Recently I bought Mazda 5 diesel and again the car suffers with lack of power. After adding a bottle of Wynns and driving for about two hounded miles in mix condition there is a significant improvement in acceleration. Unfortunately the engine performance is still not perfect so I will add another 40 litters of diesel and a bottle of Wynns and hopefully this will do the trick. Otherwise I will have to spend £250 - £350 on a replacement DPF from Eurocarparts and have it fitted by a friendly mechanic. 26 September 2016
