Wynns Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner 325ml is rated out of 5 by 81.Rated 5 out of 5 by Cosi from Be patient...it works!! I have a Fiat Doblo van and the fault light came on constantly. I carried out a forced regeneration on the DPF, but it lasted only a couple of weeks at a time. I had the DPF removed, cleaned, and refitted at a cost of nearly £300. Unfortunately the light came on again after just three months. I was considering having the DPF removed and remapped at a cost of £500 and an illegal procedure I hasten to add, but I thought I would give Wynns Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner a go, very sceptically though. I also added Wynns injector cleaner for good measure as well. I drive 20 miles to work at 70mph and back every day and after three days no joy, the light was still on, the van was still struggling up hill. I cleared the fault light yet again the next day and drove home…suddenly no problems, the van drove like a dream and still does. What a fantastic product! I will put this in my tank every couple of tank-fulls.Date published: 2017-10-09Rated 5 out of 5 by HantsHandyman from Really, this works Ok so I bought this even though I was sceptical about it. The engine management light was on and basically I was looking at £500 for a new dpf on a mercedes c class. Put this in, had a one hour drive on a dual carriageway with v little traffic so I could keep the revs up. The following day I repeated, giving the cleaner the opportunity to work and the warning light went out. I would highly recommend this product,Date published: 2017-09-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Woohooitworks from This product is amazing. I have a Fiat 1.9 diesel. About 4 weeks ago the emissions light came on and car went into limp mode! So booked car in for service and had dpf cleaned. After about 2 weeks the light came on again so i took car back to garage and had dpf cleaned again, garage said if light comes on again will need a new dpf which is very expensive (1,000 +). So took car home hoping light wouldnt come back on but unfortunatlely it did!!! So i tried another garage! They did forced regeneration on dpf and cleaned sensor. But light came back on driving home!! I did some research on internet and found this product.Found the other reviews very helpful. It sounded like just what i needed. I filled tank to 40l and put it in 2 days ago and then went on dual carrageway for 40 miles at 2.5 revs + to clear dpf ... the light was still on when got home so did another long journey yesterday and shorter one today and then just going up road WOW light went out and power is back!!! Absolutely amazing..incredible. So happy. Would highy recommend this product.Date published: 2017-08-08Rated 4 out of 5 by Itsacar from So far so good. Found the ordering and instore service excellent but cost was £10 and have bought it again at £5 . Still waiting to see if it lasts the mileage as stated.so far so good.Date published: 2017-03-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Worked for me! My 3.0D Jaguar XF has 100k miles, and the amber warning stating "dpf full: see handbook" came up two days ago. Jag handbook says to drive at a consistent speed for at least 20 minutes, so I got o to the motorway, set cruise control for 70mph, and did just that. After less than 5 minutes, the light disappeared, so I turned around. I thought this would be worth using as the dpf clearly isn't so fresh. The instructions say to add to at least 40l of fuel, so I dutifully added this, then 30l of supermarket diesel (already had 12l in the tank). Drove 200 miles today, making sure to cruise the first 100 at 70mph. I didn't really notice much difference. However, driving home again this afternoon, the engine was noticeably quieter, smoother and more powerful (accelerating is drastically improved, and led to a couple of late panicky braking manoeuvres as I shot towards the car in front). By far the best improvement is in turbo-lag, it now starts working about 200rpm sooner, and spools up way faster. Exiting one roundabout closer to home (maybe 170miles since filling up) I noticed a puff of smoke in my rear view mirror. This only happened once, and quite surprised the chap behind, but clearly something came out that was previously stuck (maybe ash, as a byproduct of burning the soot). I'd love to say fuel economy is better, but with the extra power I was having fun. I still have half the treated diesel left, but I can't see it improving any further.Date published: 2017-03-23Rated 5 out of 5 by mez353 from Works wonders Put it all in the tank, drive quickly at high revs and leave overnight. The performance increase is very noticeable in the morning, the engine is smoother and quieter, acceleration is swifter and not as much lag. Top end acceleration and top speed is increased (naughty!). DPFs are a complete waste of time and ruin the original performance, this goes along way in getting it back.Date published: 2017-02-16Rated 1 out of 5 by Kmuzaffar79 from Total waste of money Don't buy this product it doesn't do anything I have used it and it didn't make no difference.Date published: 2017-01-20Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris320 from Don't buy worse Such a bad investment used on my BMW 3 series 320d no effect at all, waste of money don't buy it doesn't work as it says on the label .Date published: 2016-11-05
