Rated 2 out of 5 by from Holts Cataloy Putty I have to say it was terrible, it says dries in 30 minutes, well it doesn't, you can see from other's here that they leave it over night. it's too thick so doesn't spread well either. Waste of money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product and very good price Put on let dry over night and use wet and dry 240+ to sand down . Can't see how other review say it don't dry , I've had no problem. Used on body line to get the shape . Would have bene lost without it, filler to course .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Knifing putty This product is good at filling chips and small imperfections in body filler and paint. Say you have chips of 1mm deep, then use it very sparingly. Get a plastic edge and spread it very thinly, so it only just covers the chip. If you put too much on and cant spread it out, wipe off and start again. If you have used filler to build up an edge of bodywork and want the edge to be perfect, this product also suits it. It can be difficult to build exact shapes with this product, but when i wetted my finger repeatedly and kept smoothing the putty out i got the exact shape i needed. When it comes to sanding down hours later do it by hand with 600 or 800 grit wet and dry sandpaper absolutely soaked in water all the time. Build up pressure when trying to get rid of the edge of the putty. Dont use an electric sander or dry sand it. I found it rips out and takes fresh paint with it. You will be back to square one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for small imperfections, useless for filling deep gaps As per other reviewers, I found this product useless when trying to fill a gap of around 2-3mm deep, as it wouldn't set after 24 hours inside the house + blasts with a hairdryer. Ended up using Isopropon bumper filler for the big gap, but that can set with bubbles in it leaving very small holes. This is where the knifing putty comes into it's own. Does a fantastic job of smoothing out small imperfections. I even used it to fill very small cracks where I'd used too much plastic filler primer and it had shrunk. I highly recommend this for final filling. Not only does it fill the small gaps smoothly, but it also sands down perfectly smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fine finishing putty/filler Excellent for finishing and 'feathering out' larger applications of filler, small scratches etc. Keyed well to surface, and rubbed down very smooth with 600 grit paper after curing overnight ( in fairly cold conditions too). No problems with curing as others have reported
