Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by Cb175 Good product Used this on my motorcycle exhaust. Prepped exhaust with a scotch pad, cleaned with meths and applied two coats. When heated for the first time it took around 16 minutes to stop smoking and at that point I assumed it had cured, so went for a half hour ride to really get things hot. Very pleased with the results 18 October 2014Rated 1 out of 5 by Fubi Motor bike exhaust paint I tried this on two exhaust down pipes. Prepared the metal rubbed down with sand paper then de greased then used a derusting metal perpetration solution . Cleaned and dried then sprayed three Coates 15 mins in between, the work shop is heated so done at around 15 deg c and dry weather, put into an oven for around a hour and a half after drying for an hour. The paint comes off with my finger nail. So what did I do wrong, is it the metal it might be stainless steel but was rusty. 25 February 2014Rated 4 out of 5 by fieldie heat paint Remove surface rust then spray this to tidy up exhaust heat shields, exhaust manifolds or inlet manifolds if alloy. My engine bay looks a lot tidier after using. 03 June 2013Rated 4 out of 5 by Tookyboy Good paint Good product as I wanted would buy the product again 09 May 2013Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Halfords Very High Temperature Paint Metallic Blac Basically got this for my refurbed F/R brake calipers, knuckles and stub axles. I went for the Metallic Black which leaves a Matt finish as I don't like the glossy finish look for cast items, it went on really easy and dried really quickly also. I suppose it would look good on other items with a Gloss Clear Coat, but that's down to choice and not for me with what I was doing, as in my opinion it looks more OEM than after market. This may sound like a strange Tip of the Day, but once it has dried for an hour or so, put it into a cold oven on the bottom/middle shelf and turn it on to a heat setting of 100°C and let it bake for approximately an hour. This will harden the paint and adhere it to the surface better (As long as you have applied it to a correctly prepared surface) 15 April 20111-5 of 5
