Hammerite High Heat Paint 400ml is rated out of 5 by 10.Rated 5 out of 5 by FitzBug from Good Quality Worked for me as I wanted a matt black/grey finish on my engine tinware and exhaust. Covers well and easily but can mark if its scratched before its got hot. Only issue I had was how expensive it is for how much you get, I've used about 6 cans!Date published: 2017-09-22Rated 5 out of 5 by MusicMac from Great product If your looking for a heat resistant spray this is the one to go for. I needed to respray our fire guard and fire dogs. As with all Hammerite products this spray is top quality. It covers very well, but make sure surfaces have been cleaned as per the instruction supplied and you won't go wrong.Date published: 2017-06-05Rated 5 out of 5 by JustDanny1996 from Used on rusty scooter exhaust Bought this vht paint for my exhaust on my scooter. Didn't need any primer just Sanded it down first then applied and let to dry overnight before curing. Looks great, nice and even coverage with no running paint or anything like that. Been about 2 weeks now and it still looks great, really happy with the product and the result of my exhaust.Date published: 2017-02-04Rated 4 out of 5 by DLWKent from High Heat Paint Ideal for old fire place - half the price of same product in homebase - i do prefer the paint on version for accuracy but couldnt find any.Date published: 2015-10-09Rated 1 out of 5 by ETB1 from Doesn't stop rust I bought this to re-paint a metal chimenea that had started to go a bit rusty. It looked good a first but after only two days started to show rust again. I have used the more traditional brush-on Hammerite before without any problem. Looks like the aerosol type isn't as good and I won't use it again or recommend it.Date published: 2015-07-15Rated 4 out of 5 by badboyandy from good This does as it says on the tin but even if left for a week and you touch where you sprayed it still rubs off a littleDate published: 2015-06-26Rated 5 out of 5 by ninjaneil from high temperature paint used on 7 year old rusty trail bike exhaust system , easy to apply, good coverage ,did whole system ,seems to heat cure when bike started, as expected ,straightforward process with excellent result, reccommendedDate published: 2014-09-23Rated 5 out of 5 by drobson from solutions from the north used this on my last job to aesthetically improve an unsightly exhaust it also worked wonders on my Granada cosworth. why aye.Date published: 2014-07-09
