We have a very thorough quality control process on all products before they are dispatched. But if your product does arrive damaged in any way, please get in touch with us within 7 days of your purchase, and we will be happy to provide a refund or replacement. The customer is responsible for arranging the return of items. Please contact us before returning faulty items so we can inform you of the best method of return. If you have ordered the incorrect item and wish for another to be sent, we require postage and packaging to be prepaid. Items returned, not due to our mistake, will be refunded minus original postage costs providing we have received notification within 14 days of purchase. Please note that no refunds will be given until goods are returned. In all cases customers must initially return any item (faulty or unwanted) at their own expense - this will later be refunded if deemed faulty or incorrect. Our 14 day guarantee: Our guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 10 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item, less our cost of shipping and packaging. Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. This time scale applies to orders that have been sent incorrectly, you must inform us straight away. No returns are accepted after this time scale, even if sent incorrectly. How to Return an Item: Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently: 1. Repackage the item and send it back to our returns address (as below) for the attention of the Halfords Department. 2. Enclose any notes stating your name, order number, and the reason for requesting a return. 3. Please state whether you would like the goods replaced with the same or similar or to receive a refund 4. If the item is broken, please be prepared to describe its fault in full detail. If the item is damaged or faulty, we require images displaying the area of damage and the overall condition of the product. 5. We recommend you use first or second class recorded delivery at the post office (enables you to track the item). 6. In accordance with our terms and conditions, the cost of postage will not be refunded unless the goods are faulty. 7. Please then package the item in its original packaging, including any manuals, warranty cards, licenses and accessories.
