Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leak fixed? Bought this product to seal an oil leak on a bmw 330 timing casing, unfortunately it didn't work even although I followed all the guidelines,it dries rock hard in 5-7 mins so work quickly when using it! After stripping the timing chain cover off I discovered there was a pressurised oil gallery passing through it so Leak fix was not at fault but my choice of repair by using the priduct was. I would be very confident that it would have sealed if there was no pressure where the leak was eminating from. I have the Leak fix sitting on a shelf as it will come in useful one day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from actually works! I was a bit cynical about this product but as i had a hole in my petrol tank and a replacement was going to be costly and take time to order i decided to give it a try. Very pleased with the result to date, tank repair has held for several weeks so far and no sign of any leakage. I did make sure the surface was nice and clean and i didn't skimp on the filler. So before you splash out three figures on a new tank it might be worth giving this stuff a go as it is reasonably priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff I bought some of this as i had a small hole in my transit sump. After been quoted quite abit of money to replace it i thought i would try this glad i did. I removed the oil from my sump used a wire brush to remove loose rust be careful dont brush too hard might cause more damage, after exposing the small hole. I applied two coats of this let it set then re painted the sump and there where no leaks grat stuff would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cost effective easy repair i have a micra with a rusty sump, tried the putty then this leak fix. it does what it says on the lid. i dried off the bottom area under sump this is whlist engine still full of oil, then applied a small amount of leak fix to the area, it soon hardened and i noticed a slightly small leak, so once again i cleaned the area and applied a small amount to cover the area. now after a relativly small amount of time and effort i have a drip free engine sump and saved me about 300 ponds to have it replaced, worth trying as its only a tenner
