Good product Have only used the power pack to start my car, but it works very well. As noted by others the jump leads are a bit short. You have to balance the pack on the engine. 18 April 2012

Power Pack 100 The first unit I purchased did a good job of battery boosting, but the valve on the compressor was poorly assembled, so it did not make contact with the tyre valve. Took it back and found a second unit with the same problem. Selected a third unit which appeared okay, but when I went to charge it up at home found that the AC power adaptor was incorrect with the wrong size of DC plug. Fed up driving back to Halfords so taking a full refund. Poor quality control on the manufacturing and packaging in the product range. 06 February 2011
Average product I think the worst part of this product is the jump leads themselves.They are too short and the clips don't open enough allowing you to clamp the battery connections.Connector at pack end looks weak too.I had to make modifications. 25 January 2011

Does all the jobs I was impressed with this bit of kit. It was good quality easy to use and did not cost a fortune. When you look at what you pay for a tyre inflator on its own this is great value. Its got a 12 Volt power socket so you can use it to charge up accessories and is very useful for camping. 19 November 2010
Got me started I was lucky to be near a halfords store when I broke down bought this and it started my car instantly. I think I must have got a bargain as when I looked at Halfords web page I paid less so five stars Halfords 09 November 2010
Halfords Power Pack 100 with compresser No power in my garage if battery flat can know start car without pushing out of garage etc. also can plug in a lead lamp to see what Iam doing. when checking car over i can pump up my tires I am 72 years old so it could mean that i can carry on motoring for much longer without the worry of all the above problems happening. 16 February 2010

Hi, thanks for your interest in Halfords Power Pack 100 with Compressor. The 20 Amp hour battery in this pack cannot be used to fully charge a car battery. As a safety feature of this charger, the voltage sensing leads will not function on a flat battery.

Do any of your car tyre compressor pumps have a cigar lighter contection that is suitable to use in a 2008 Honda Jazz? What I have at the moment won't connect.

The A/C charger supplied with the unit can be used to keep the pack on permanent charge. As with all mains powered products. it should be monitored regularly and the power pack must not be used whilst being charged.
