David's Fastglass Glass Fibre Kit - Small

The David's Fastglass Glass Fibre Kit is a polyester resin kit containing resin, hardener, glass fibre, mixing cup and protective gloves.

It has been developed for the repair of holes, splits, cracks and tears in most materials including metal, wood, hard plastics, bricks etc. It can also be used as a construction material to manufacture storage tanks etc and offers perfect adhesion to most surfaces and is a solid base for most paint systems.

The small version of the kit contains 250ml opaque polyester laminating resin, a glass fibre matting sheet (25 x 110cm), mixing stick, measuring beaker / mixing cup, protective gloves, ½" brush, 10g red BPO paste hardener sachet and detailed instructions.

Excellent Buy Looked on E-bay at first for this product, but thought it was a bit expensive. I decided to take a look at Halfords and voila bought it, at a much cheaper price. PS the product is brilliant at filling in huge gaps! After all i do own a couple of Land Rovers! 03 January 2010
Bath Repair Used to reinforce a crack in an acrylic bath (from beneath) before using a bath repair kit. The set fibre prevented any flexing of the bath and allowed the repair kit for the inside of the bath to finish the job.. More than enough fibre and resin in the kit to do a multi layer repair. Make sure you have the right thinners to keep the brush flexible between layers. 25 August 2009

Fastglas Glass Fibre has been specially developed for use in the repair of holes, splits, cracks and tears in most materials including metal, wood, hard plastic, bricks etc, it also offers perfect adhesion to most surfaces and is a solid base for most paint systems.
As a soft and flexible cloth it can be easily cut to shape with scissors, but once it has been wetted with the activated resin, it forms tough Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GRP) which permanently retains its given shape and bonds to most materials.
