The Halfords Alloy Wheel Repair Kit is the easy and affordable way to repair alloy wheels using professional materials & techniques.

The kit is suitable for 5-6 repairs and requires 10 minutes preparation time, 60 minutes repair time and 60 minutes drying time (weather dependent).

complete load of rubbish well only one word describes this product....Rubbish.... there is nothing to recommend about it. i was unable to get anywhere near a satisfactory result using this product 04 October 2011
Useless! Unable to repair damage to the wheels, as both repair "glue" tubes had dried up and gone solid. All other tubes at the branch and also extra tubes the branch had obtained were also found to be dried up! Manager indicated that this product was to be replaced by another very soon, due to large number of complaints from customers. Full refund given. Recommend not to buy and await replacement product! 19 March 2010
Overpriced I bought this product to repair a scuff on the alloy wheels of my Jaguar x Type. I found some of the components missing from the box. Vitually no instructions were included and for the price it was grossly overpriced. Far better to buy a metal filler and Alloy spray paint seperately. I would definitely not recommend this product. It is not worth the money. 19 July 2009

I've already used up all of the filler provided with the alloy repair kit, and most of the spray. But i still have 3 wheels to go, can i buy these seperately from you or from your supplier?

From experience once rims are damaged the best option is to get them professionally refurbished.
There are plenty of companies on the internet offering this service.

It will work on all alloy wheels, but the paint is a matt silver and you will not get your highly polished wheels back.

The alloy wheel cleaner is acidic in nature and is designed to brake down brake dust and other hardened deposits. I would strongly advise testing on a small area first. Once the wheels have been cleaned up I would recommend they are re-lacquered to prevent further corrosion / rusting.

The alloy wheel cleaner is acidic in nature and is designed to brake down brake dust and other hardened deposits. It is not specifically formulated for flaking / bubbling of alloy wheels but may improve the look of the alloy wheels considerably, I would strongly advise testing on a small area first. Once the alloy wheels have been cleaned up I would recommend they are re-lacquered to prevent further flaking / bubbling.
Depending on how much of a repair is required on each alloy wheel it should be sufficient to complete all four alloy wheels
