It's a bulb. Yes, I needed a car bulb. It was the one you use normally for driving, this bulb in fact which is why I bought it. It took me longer to work out which bulb I actually needed than it took to fit. There's this stupid naming convention you see. This is a "dipped" headlight, whereas there is also a "driving" headlight that you very rarely use while driving these days as you end up with people blinded by glare ploughing into the front of your car if you do. Most people know the "driving" headlight as their "full-beam" while this "dipped" headlight is in fact the "normal" driving headlight. So, if you just need to drive around normally and see what's around you then this one will do. If instead you find your ability to blind your fellow drivers is impaired you may in fact be needing the "driving" bulb. 02 January 2012
Headlight bulb It's a headlight bulb. Not much to say - it does the job as well as the bulb it replaced. When fitting make sure it's fully pushed into holder otherwise it wont light up the road correctly! 28 December 2011
Saab 9-3 2007 - Headlight Bulb Passenger side The product is a headlight bulb, nothing more to say. Not interested in Xenon bulb just a straight replacement. Halford tool very good for selecting the right bulb. Reserved on-line and picked up about an hour later. Important note for anyone attempting to replace this on their own on a 2007 9-3 Saab- it's fiddly. Remove the battery cover, and then remove the washer filler - this gives you access to the bulb cover and the removal and placement. 07 December 2011
