Made life easy. I needed this so that I can replace my old nissan fitted car radio with a Sony car radio/cd player. You can spend hours fiddling with wires trying to get the connections right or use one of these. Simple plug and play. 09 January 2011
Does what it's meant to! A great bit of kit, however I did find fitting a JVC stereo to a '98 Primera GT you need to connect the earth to some bodywork and not the connector as the factory stereo earths through it's cradle. 14 September 2010

PC2-13-4

For: Nissan Primera SE (1998 reg)

This harness is suggested by your site when replacing the original cd player/radio.
Exactly what does it do ?
Are there any coding problems with the ECU when replacing the Original unit with a new one ?
My original units' front LCD is pretty poor now so I'm wanting to get a more mdoern one.
The speakers aren't working but this is probably due to a battery failure a couple of weeks ago and I had to jump start the car possibly blowing it/them ? All fuses in the main fuse boxes are okay - power to the unit but no sound.
I have since replaced the older batter with a brand new Bosch battery from halfords. I thought that I might as well replace the unit completely with a more modern mp3 one.

The actual removal and fitting is straight forward anyway, I have done this on a few vehicles in the past.

The car has a factory fitted Blaupunkt cassette player in at the moment and i wish to fit a sony cd player with standard iso connections. I have heard that this adaptor is suitable to change the connections. Also will i have to buy a cage or fascia for it, the sony cd player is standard sized as most aftermarket models i believe. Thanks

Most Sony CD Players will fit the majority of vehicles.
All fitting is subject to a vehicle inspection.
New fascia or additional wiring may be required for a successful installation.
