'Brilliant' bulb The Halfords torch I purchased a year or so ago did not work when I wanted it, on checking, the bulb had gone, so I thought throw it away, and what a waste but no, I might be able to replace the bulb, then like magic there it was on the shelf, did I really need two, maybe not but now I have a spare if it goes wrong again. 30 November 2012

Answer: 
This bulb can be used in either the Maglite 4C or the Maglite 4D and will perform as the original bulb did. The bulbs output is not measured in watts but in candlepower. At 3 metres, the beam in the 4C is 13,000 candlepower and at the same distance, the 4D is 15,000 candlepower
