The Halfords 2 Stroke Garden Engine Oil is specially formulated for use in 2 stroke garden machinery engines. The low ash, mineral formulation helps to reduce engine deposits and it readily mixes with fuel. It is suitable for use with most horticultural, garden and domestic 2 stroke engines.

Great Stuff Using it in a 52cc hedge trimmer (25:1 ratio) Certainly does not smell/smoke any better or worse than most other 2 stroke oils. A good price for 1ltr. Cap sits well with no spillage so far. 14 October 2011

I bought this oil today to use with my 50cc cobra dirt bike with a 2 stroke engine can i use this oil with it or should i get a different oil?

Hey,
I am using it on a 52cc hedge trimmer at 25:1 and it is performing very well.

It will therefore be totally suitable for use at 50:1

If in doubt, put a bit MORE oil in. A rich mixture will smoke a bit more and you may need to clean the spark plug a bit more.
A lean mixture stresses the engine and in worst case will kill it.

It's a generic 2 stroke engine oil. As such it's suitable for any 2 stroke engine.

You can buy Stihl branded oil products or several "premium" 2 stoke oils but they all do the same thing :)

If you only buy branded goods then no harm - but this really will not do any better or worse a job.

No, this is not based on castor oil. Very few products are now as it is very old technology.

Halfords Garden 2 Stroke oil meets the requirements of API TC, JASO FB and ISO L-EGB.
I am not sure what you mean by SEA specification but I suspect that you may mean SAE (please accept my apologies if I am wrong).
The concept of an SAE viscosity is not really valid for a two stroke oil as in use it is mixed with fuel but, straight from the bottle, the product would display a similar viscosity to a SAE 30 weight oil.
