The Halfords 2 Roof Cycle Carriers comes fully assembled which saves you time. It can carry up to 2 bikes and is the safest and most secure way of transporting bikes. Due to the fact the carrier is on the roof of the car leaving rear access free to tow caravans and trailers and well as allowing for hassle free access to the car boot.
The cycle carrier has an advanced frame holder that provides easy fitting to frame sizes from 22 and 55mm in diameter. The frame holder is also lockable which helps to reduce the risk of theft of your cycle, giving you peace of mind.

Fitting Do's and Don'ts
Positioning
- Position the cycle carrier equally over the two roof bars
- Will fit most roofbar profiles
- Alternate direction of cycle carriers if more than one is fitted
- Do not fit the cycle to the carrier without having prior fitted the front wheel securing strap
Additional Information
Important:
Ensure the cycle tyres are fully inflated before fitting to the carrier
Care must be taken when driving in low places such as garages & multi-storey car parks
You require a set of roof bars to to mount these carriers on your car. They are supplied with fittings for standard 32mm by 22mm roof bars.
To mount these carriers on aluminium roof bars, you will also have to purchase the Thule 5301 T Track Adapter set (Halfords Code 970004) . This set contains 3 'T' shaped bolts that fit into the special slots that are provided in the upper surface of most makes of aluminium roof bars.
