Battery Life Due to the recent bad weather it killed my battery fitted to my Vectra. I went to halfords as this was the cheapest place i could find for the said battery. I got it home fitted it and with the first turn of the key the car lived again. I now have done over 1000 miles in it with no problems at all. Fantastic purchase. 13 January 2011

New Battery The battery turns the car over immediately and the fitting service was fast & efficient, even to the extent that a code saver device was used to retain the radio code and other in car system codes. I'll definitely use the service again. 06 March 2010

Good Value I shopped around before buying and this was the best value and also the only one with a 3 year warranty. I would recommend to friends and family. With the ring and reserve service my goods were waiting for me as soon as the store opened. Excellent service from Halfords. 22 January 2010

whats the meaing of 12V 57AH, 12V 60AH, is it to do with the amount of charge the battery holds so the bigger AH is better.

The battery is shown with round terminals.
The Ford Scorpio requires a battery with flat drilled terminals to accomodate the bolt for connecting the cables. Are you able to obtain this option, otherwise it will mean also having to replace the battery connectors and probably cables as well???

there are connectors available which will convert flat terminal connectors into round terminal connectors unfortunatly us at halfords do not stock these and i am un aware that we can order them as im having this exact problem myself and i work for halfords!

Sealed batteries are sealed to last the service life of the battery and should not be topped up. Batteries with caps for topping up should be filled with Halfords battery top up water.
