GREAT AERIAL! Got bad distortion on my Focus aerial and decided to try this one , So far I have had no distortion (although I have only used it driving a short distance) but before I would get interference every 20 seconds or so on FM wavebands. Its shorter than my old aerial yet it seems to give a better reception , I would say use the longest rod as its still shorter than most standard aerials and the other smaller rods supplied just seem too short. Very pleased so far and it looks a lot better than what I had on my car! 06 May 2012
Ripspeed Aluminium Car Aerial - Black Broke my original aerial and bought this as a replacement. The reception is better with this aerial, it looks good. The added bonus with this aerial was being able to adjust the length, with the supplied aerial mast rods. 30 December 2011
Ripspeed Purchased for my new Meriva due to standard aerial catching on garage door. Three length options with the aerial. of which I installed the middle length. Reception appears excellent even Classic FM which I have always had trouble with. Delivery was rapid, Installation easy and price ok. All in All a very good buy. 20 March 2011
great value with style great replacement arial real easy to put on looks well and wotks bought another beesting arial before this one and could,nt get a good steady signal at all my only advice is use longest attachment gives best proformance. 28 December 2009

Just to clarify the way this connects to the car. The base unit has the screw on it so the aerial mast needs to have the screw thread on it, is that how this is? Also will it fit on a NV52 Ford Ka as I've had masts that the thread hole is too small to fit
