Very Coool! bought these for the footwell of my car. 1 LED light in each foot well eluminates them brightly! looks super cool, had loads of comments! buying more to do the rest of the interior now :) 05 February 2011
Cost effective modification Simple but cost effective modification for any vehicle for example, glove compartments, footwells, engine bays, boots etc, possibilitiies are endless - bit fiddly on the miniscule gauge wiring though. 07 April 2010

Simply unplug then from the adapter, they are for off road or show use only. These lights must not be visible to other road users & are not legal for use on public highways.

As the title says, do you need to remove the try me now button and the black box that conceals the batteries? Im wiring them up to a switch and powering them via the wiring behind the dash

Answer: 
Yes you do need to remove the 'try me now' button. I have wired mine into the radio unit, the live comes from the cable between the ignition and the radio and then the earth goes to one of the 2 earth cables coming out of the radio.
