Best value for money I must admit I did some research and came across this and thought as my car is now 11 years old and i can't afford to change it that had better start putting decent oil in, as my mileage has increased. I must admit my car is running a lot better, you get what you pay for and this certainly is well worth the extra money!! It's the only thing I use now!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!! 08 December 2011
does what it says on the bottle Check the prices of all the brand name oils and then buy this. Providing the spec is what your car takes this is perfect 507 spec for my golf GT TDI 11 January 2011

VW Oil - Good value This oil is branded to relate specifically to the standards required by the latest VW engines and should not mess up the auto servicing alert function. Still pricey but is around half the price my local VW dealer was charging for VW branded oil! 01 November 2010
Why pay more? Exactly the same specification ot oil that is recommended by VW, except it costs a a lot less! In my VW Golf GT Sport TDI, the oil consumption no different to big brand oils used by VW Dealers. Same performance at a lower cost... Bit of a no-brainer really! 03 January 2010

Oil for Peugeot

For my Peugeot 807 2.0 HDi FAP (ie diesel with particle filter), 5W30 fully synthetic is recommended. Are any of the types you sell (marked as BMW, VW and Vauxhall) suitable? Are they actually different from each other?

Answer: 
The specification of oil that you require for your vehicle is a 5W30 meeting the ACEA C2 specification. Unfortunately we don't currently carry this product but it might be worth looking again in the future. As vehicle manufacturers have their own ideas on engine design this leads to their requirements for oils being different and this is reflected in the number of different 5W30 oils we need to stock.

"P reg is 1996 - 1997. we would need to know the engine size of your car but for a VW of this age you could use a 10W40 such as the Halfords Part Synthetic Oil Product Code (166587) or perhaps give your vehicle a treat and try a fully synthetic oil such as our 5W40 Product Code (176503). The 5W30 oil that you have selected is actually designed for later models particularly those with advanced exhaust treatment devices.
We have a oil selector on the website, please click on car maintanance ant then oils and additives, this will direct you to the oil selector. Simply enter your vechicle registration number and the selector will recommend the correct oils for your vechicle.

For an Audi A6 1.9 turbo diesel on a
fixed service (1995-2005) we recommend 10w-40 part synthetic diesel 0w-30
on a variable service (1995 2005) we recommend 5w-30 fully synthetic (VWG 506.01/507.00)
For a Audi A6 with Pump Deuce (PD) on a fixed service (2000 2005) 5w-40 fully synthetic diesel (VWG 505.01) or variable service (2000-2005) 5w-30 fully synthetic (VWG 506.01/507.00)
