Graco Junior Plus High Back Booster Seat Cherry Drop 4.6 5 114 129
Good Purchase I bought this as a replacement for an 'up to 4 years' seat. This seat was easy to assemble and is fully adjustable. My Grandson likes the cup holders built into the base to put his drink in. The covers are easily removed for washing and the backrest can eventually be removed entirely leaving a booster cushion for older children. 28 January 2010
A new car requires new booster seats...! Having purchased a new car, I decided I couldn't put in their old seats so, two new high back boosters were the answer.. The seats are lightweight, easy to handle and assemble, excellent modern, clean design without being too fussy. Cup-holders are a nice touch, not just for drinks but all their other bits and bobs. Wrap around head protectors offer side impact protection and also sleepy head support on those longer journeys... 06 June 2012
Graco booster seat Not a bad booster seat but the recline function isn't really possible when strapped into a car seat. 22 April 2012
Not a bad buy The grandchildren seem comfortable in these seats, but when they fall asleep they look quite uncomfortable and our four year old granddaughter complained of a sore neck after sleeping. So we have bought Yondi travel neck cushions which have resolved the problem. 26 March 2012
As expected, having bought one before This seat was bought for my grandson and having bought the same one before we knew what to expect. It gives all the safety requirements one expects with respect to a small child and is very easy to fit and move to different vehicles. 09 March 2012
Great Works perfect and is very comfy for my daughter. In other words I would recommend this to anyone 20 February 2012
Great Car seat Great car seat, easy to fit and my wee boy loves it! 10 January 2012
Great quality and value This seat was at a great price and the quality is very good. Easily put together and installed within the car. Would recommend this seat to anyone. 10 January 2012

Answer:
Yes, the back pivots on the base so should fit any angle of seat and simply uses a standard seat belt for securing.

Answer:
I think it is 3-4kg as I have looked on the box, although it's not very clear. I don't find the seat heavy to lift. it's much much lighter than the baby moulded seats you get for 0-4 year olds.

We have the Graco Junior Plus Hi Back Booster Seat for our 4 year old son and when he falls asleep in the car he ends up leaning over quite badly because the belt does not give him any support. We are not able to turn the air bag off in the front seat and cannot recline the back seat. Would you recommend using some kind of solid foam which physically reclines the back seat to stop him leaning forward when asleep?

Answer:
There is nothing available and certainly improvising anything like it will effect the performance of the seat and more worryingly, it will alter where the seatbelt will restrain the child in the case of impact. There are 2 options to consider: The Graco Junior Plus does have 2 recline positions that work independently of the actual car seat angle. These are not dramatic reclines but do alter the angle of the child. Another option is one of the neckrolls that we stock. There are a number of seatbelt pads available on the market (not yet live online with us) that support the childs head as well as preventing the seatbelt rubbing. We would also advise to keep the child in the back if the front airbag cannot be turned off.

Answer:
I would say that it would depend on how tall he is, my grandson is a small 3 1/2 yr old, meets the weight but only just made the height, any shorter and the seat belt would not provide sufficient safety protection. I would recommend trying before you buy.

Answer:
As he is so young still, make sure it is one that has high back support and not just the booster. If you are looking to get one witha car seat belt rather than a 5-point harness make sure your son tries out a few first as height would be the big issue rather than weight as if the seatbelt goes across his face/chin rather than his shoulder thenhe's not big enough. The Graco one I've just bought for my (just) 3 year old recommends minimum height of 96cm. Hope that helps!

The weight and age of the child should be taken into account when deciding which seat to put your child in. We recommend that both criteria are met.
Our store colleagues are happy to help with any queries on your child's safety with the correct child seat.
