Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth Handsfree Kit

The Parrot MKi9200 is a Bluetooth hands-free system with a 2.4-inch high-resolution TFT colour screen. A wireless remote control can be positioned on the steering wheel or dashboard and allows the driver to control all the functions of the MKi9200. Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth Handsfree Kit - hands free & music streaming car kit, works with iPhone* and is made for iPod.

*Bluetooth audio streaming is not supported with the iPhone 5, for this feature a lightning adaptor and plug in are required.

To ensure optimal audio quality when on the phone, the Parrot MKi9000 combines double microphone technology with new signal processing software (DSP-3) that eliminates background and surrounding noise, including noise from inside the car.

Parrott MKi9200 hands free is the business! I have always been skeptical of the benefits of hands free and struck to stopping to make calls or wired headphone microphone sets. The MKi9200 is a dream to use with a seamless pairing via bluetooth to my android phone. The phone book and voice dialling is flawless. The media/music input and control system is wonderfully surprising. As I discovered I could directly select and control my music collection on my phone directly through the MKi9200. Sound quality is actually better than my car stereo. The is a great set of inputs for any audio media device you might want to connect. I find it great for listening to DAB radio via 3.5mm jacket the MKi9200 has. This piece of kit has converted me. 24 September 2011
Ok Not to bad of a kit but does fall to floppy screen display , dodgy software , buttons on steering wheel can fall off , avarage sound quality .Better off with a TK30 System by Motorola ! 01 September 2012
easy to use and a must having always purchased cheap hands-free I decided it time to treat myself to a quality one ... wow , what a piece of kit , the sound quality is top , and you don't need to raise your voice in conversation as the microphone is also sensitive. Voice recognition is excellent meaning yo need not touch your phone any more.. if your thinking about getting one think no more get one .. 09 August 2012

Not long term tech I bought this hands free kit in november 2010 and for almost eighteen months it worked well but now it will pick up the music from my iphone on bluetooth but there is no volume control nor can the songs be skipped. It now does not answer my phone calls instead I have to use the screen to decide if i want to have the call diverted throught the parrot. I cannot make outgoing calls. I cannot reset the kit to the factory settings so I am left with a small almost useless little screen attached to my dash which is no longer hands free. Is there no guarantee beyond the twleve months? 17 July 2012
Hands Free / I Phone Music Player I bought this kit to be able to hook up music from my Iphone to the car speakers. I own a Vectra C 08 plate. Installation took around 45 minutes and it looks the part. Sound quality is very good for both music and hands free. Would recommend this product for the right price 11 July 2012

Not sure Id buy it from Halfords. Product good - on par with the Tom Tom hands free. Wouldn't say it was the best and doesnt pronouce my surname properly which is annoying. But does the job I bought it for. However after paying a professional Parrot installer - it turns out the Parrot I bought from Halfords was used/broke and the seal was broken and taped over. However Halfords replaced the item for a new one - just waiting for my installation to be refunded as I had to have the Parrot man out twice - so ladies and gents check the product before getting it installed. 16 May 2012

Hi there,
I was just writing to enquire about how much it would cost to buy and fit a Parrot MKi9200 into a 2003 Mini Cooper S. I looked on the compatibility section on the Parrot website and it said I would require an adapter, however this differed depending on whether you have an in built sat nav or not. I have the factory fitted sat nav as well as the standard factory fitted cd unit. I also have a multi function steering wheel but have heard you need a Unika kit to allow this to be used, is this the case?
Any info would be much appreciated,

I have recently had the parrot car kit fitted by the kittybrewster branch of Halfords. I am going to be changing cars again in the next few weeks and wondered if Halfords offer a service to remove the car kit and if so how much is this service?

Were sure they do offer a remove and refit service for your parrot kit but depending on what vehicle it`s being installed into will vary on price as most vehicles now have there own SOT leads and require canbus adaptors or rewiring for ignition switch to the parrot kit !
