perfect for almost everything on the bike if your wondering which one of the Myriad of oils to get for your bike you would be best off going for this one. great for every part of the bike [just not brake blocks or disks!] use it sparingly on the chain though as it can gunk up very quickly 04 August 2012

Halfords Cycle Oil

I recently bought some of your cycle oil, and I know this probably sounds like a stupid question, but I have no idea how to open it!

Initially I thought the black cap could be removed, but I don't think it can. Do I have to pierce a hole in the top?

Chop it off.. I used a knife, took a bit of doing.

Then use the cap to keep it sealed.

You are correct, you do need to make a hole in the top of the product. Our advise would be to use a pair of scissors and carefully cut the tip off the packaging. There is a small cap to place over the tip once it is opened, be careful to store the product upright as this will not form a leak proof seal!
