what should i buy!!

my neighbour washed my new car for my this morning, it is a classic red 1992 mazda mx5. He used a jet washer and car cleaning stuff. My car has now gone a cloudy white colour which feels chalky!! ive tried washing with water it didnt work, ive waxed it, it didnt work! what shall i do or buy'???

Hi, thanks for your interest in Halfords Car Polish 500ml. It sounds as though the red paint has oxidised, Autoglym Super Resin Polish (300233) can restore this area or lessen the appearance of the white cloudiness. Increase the pressure used to apply the polish over the worst areas to return it to a uniform red. Once the colour has been restored, apply High Definition Wax (961748) or Extra Gloss Protection (680397) over the area to seal in the paint work and slow the rate of fade. Hope this helps.

No. Just make sure that the applicator sponge, and your microfibre cloths are clean. It also goes without saying that your car shpuldn't be covered in dust or grime.
