great purchase great purchase we had bikes stolen so really came in useful so we could carry on using bike trailer 11 May 2012
Bike trailer attachment I recently purchased this item to fit onto my bike which has quick release wheels. It was extremely easy to fit and allows the trailer to attach with easy. I tend to go out on the bike with trailer on my own with my son and can put it all together on my own without any help and also whilst my son is sat in the trailer. Would definitely recommend getting. 06 April 2012
Much Needed Replacement The hitch was required as we had lost the one which came with our child trailer. I was delighted that the hitch was of good quality and not just a cheap replacement. I ended up buying two, one for each bike as it now means we can share pulling the trailer. 16 March 2012

It's one of them thingys I needed one of them thingys because my last one was stolen along with my bike. I was esaly able to purchase said thingy for £1 less than the last one cost so I'm happy. 10 November 2010
spare bike trailer bracket- hard to get! the spare bracket is very useful as it means both my husband and I can pull the trailer without having to dismantle our bikes. And this bracket is cheap and easy to use. Hardest thing was getting the thing- Halfords online said that it was in both the Cambridge and Newmarket stores, however there were none in either. In the end had to order online to get it. 10 October 2010
Perfect replacement Part Unfortunately I lost this fixing part off my Halfords Trailer. I was pleased to find it was in stock at Bromsgrove so no delays in getting up and running again. 06 September 2010
Just Like new I got a second user trailer from a friend needed a new hitch the reserver and collect server was very good made things so much easier Thanx Halfords 01 July 2010

I bought a second hand single phillips childs trailer, the connecting part has a nut & bolt type attacthment but unsure where this fits into, whether its the seat bar or something else.

The trailer does not have any other parts. Do I need another attatchment part for my bike i.e clasp ring. If this is the case where would I get one from?

Answer: 
This should be the correct frame fitment to use in conjunction with the Phillips Child Trailer. These fit to the rear wheel axle of the bike and the trailer than attaches to this and is held secure by the locking pin and clasp.

Yes my bike has quick release, halfords website has a download instruction manual section, in this part it tells you how to fit the trailer etc with quick release

Carrera Subway LTD

With regard to the previous answer that this is not compatible. I specifically asked in a serperate question if the Carerra subway ltd or Voodoo Marassa could tow a child trailer, the answer I was given was yes, both bikes can tow a child carrier.

Now I have got a completely contradictory answer regarding the same issue.

Couls you please clarify which is correct?
