Silver batteries provide up to 45% more starting power and up to 30% longer life than a standard battery. Power Frame technology means there is a stronger more stable grid within the battery designed to aid with the above as well as give a faster re-charge acceptance and optimum energy flow. Silver car batteries come fully charged, ready to fit and are completely maintenance free.

This battery is ideal for larger engine vehicles and cars with extra electrical equipment such as cool boxes, DVD's, Sat Nav's etc. Also for vehicles that make a lot of start stop journeys.

Very Good Battery I have used this product and find it excellent it quickly recharges the battery, it is easy to fit as you can carry it to your car by the handle fitted on the battery, saves you having to struggle by carring it by your finger tips! high quality product Exactly the same shape and size as original battery. This made install very easy O.E.M battery gave me 210 amps at crank (starting engine power) this gives me an amazing 520 amps what a difference over O.E.M hat off to BOSCH however they are one of the most experienced manafacturers a high price however high end battery tech so is really that expensive also comes with five year warranty well done BOSCH reserved online picked up in store 20 mins later well done halfords 04 January 2012
Extra power This replaced the wrong battery, insufficient power output for our car model, which had been incorrectly supplied and fitted by Kwik Fit. Huge difference, plenty of power when starting car from cold, and a guarantee which will last as long as we have the car. Worth paying a little extra for a TRUSTED brand name. Its a battery Well plugged it in and it works not much more I can say about it. I bought this one as I intend to have the car for about 5 years and do in excess of 20000 miles a year so like to make sure parts don't just die on the way to something important. Its somewhat shorter than my old battery (yes it is the correct battery) although this didn't matter to me as the parts to hold it in do not attach at the top. Just remember these way a lot so don't try and walk with it, I dont consider myself unfit and a 5 minute walk from my house was far enough for me! 19 April 2011

I've just bought this battery and it states maintenance free, although you can lift the plastic tabs covering the cells if you need to top up at some point in the future.

Mine was pretty much fully charged when I bought it so just put it in the car and off I went!

Great build quality. Will outlast cheaper batteries.

Yes, fit it and forget it.
Recommend you smear a small amount of copper grease around both battery terminals to prevent corrosion build up.
