Halfords Handlebar Fitting Kit Product Description

The Halfords Handlebar 2010 Fitting Kit allows bike luggage to be used on a second bike and can be used as a replacement. This fitting kit will only fit the 2010 range of bike luggage and bike baskets. A great range of other bike parts and accessories is also available.

Additional Information

Important: This handlebar fitting kit only fits the 2010 range of luggage. It does not fit products bought prior to May 2010. Unfortunately there is no longer a spare bracket available for products bought prior to May 2010.

Really handy This is really handy, not because i can transfer from one bike to another, but because my bike was stolen but i had my basket at home at the time, so instead of buying the bracket and a basket I only needed to buy the bracket. 12 March 2012

My bag was bought in 2009 so the 2010 fixing kit does not fit.

Answer: 
It depends which brand of bag you are referring to. If the Bag is BikeHut then this is not the correct code and you can order (159312) which will fit. If the product is Halfords branded then we do have some in our DC which we could get out to you, item code: 887877.

Answer: 
The bendy metal strips run under the stem to prevent the basket rotating around the handlebar. The kit is also supplied with a spanner and allen key.
