FLI Trap FT12A 12" Active Bass Enclosure

The Fli active enclosure has a dimpled cone subwoofer to increase effective cone area and ridgidity for superior bass delivery. Fli Trap12A boxes are wrapped in a tight weave acoustic carpet with logos stiched in for added style. The nickel plated spring loaded terminals allow easy connection of heavy gauge speaker cable for maximum current transfer.

Additional Information

Store fitting applies to units fitted by Halfords on site. Normal mobile fitting charges will apply for mobile fitting requests or complex installs, which after inspection, require a mobile fitting contractor (additional cost). Standard charges cover the first hour of mobile installation labour, after which an hourly rate applies, quotations available on request.

Additional amplifier wiring may be required at additional cost, subject to installation requirements, if not supplied with the product.

Fitting service applies to products purchased in Halfords only. Pre-booking may be required. Fitting subject to vehicle inspection, vehicle restrictions may apply. If you require further assistance, please contact your local Halfords store.

Extra charges may apply with vehicles with non standard wiring and / or complex installation requirements.

AMP THIS AMP IS VERY GOOD FOR WHAT YOU PAY THE BASE IS SPOT ON I HAD A BIT TROUBLE WIRING IT IN TO MY CORSA B BUT THAT WAS CARS FAULT LOL.. OVERALL I WOULD SAY ITS A GOOD AMP :D 17 April 2012
great sub The sub box is great value for money, but it doesnt give out as much bass as the more expensive brands. Easy to fit and is a good size, got mine in the back of a 1996 polo and only takes up half the boot 30 August 2011
Good Product bit of advice open product at store as the tube that conect into the port was not connected so i had to take sub out and re-glue it back on!!! other than that it is a good product!!!!! 30 June 2010

That will depend greatly on what gauge wiring kit you have installed. If you have an 8 gauge wiring kit you should be fine, if not then you will need to upgrade the kit first as otherwise u run the risk of melting the power cable and possibly starting a fire!

As long as the amp wiring installed into the vehicle meets the minimum
specification of the new product it will be just fine.

Minimum 10AWG wiring kit (Power cable (red) and Earth cable (Blk))
Minimum 30Amp Fuse

Just make sure that no damage has occurred during the time it has been
installed

If in doubt replace with the wiring kit which comes complete with the
new product

That would depend on many factors EG: where you need to run the cables, if u need to make a hole in the bulkhead to fit the power cable etc. I fitted my 12" Vibe slick in 2.5hours. There are many factors to how long it takes but id say 3-4 hours is a good estimate to do it right!
