Boardman Road Team Carbon Product Description

Sporting an ultralight T700 carbon frame with tapered headtube, BB30 bottom bracket and internal cable routing, the Boardman Extra Large Road Team Carbon Bike is an ideal choice for those wanting a top quality carbon bike finished with high spec components including a full carbon fibre fork, Shimano 105 20 speed gearing, Mavic Aksium silver wheels and carbon fibre seatpost.

This bike includes a 'raw' finish - the carbon has been painted with a clear lacquer to allow the carbon to show through, allowing you to see the high level of engineering behind this frame. The small undulations in the UD cloth reflect the light in different ways which gives an interesting and unique finish, this is perfectly normal with a UD finish - the lack of paint also saves a small amount of weight, adding to the performance.

Boardman bikes are inspired and developed by Olympic Champion cyclist Chris Boardman. Chris Boardman has described the Boardman Road range as- "Taking all the experience from my own pro career alongside input from Olympic, World and National Champion riders, these bikes have been designed with one goal in mind...performance. best bike for the money i had searched the net trying to find the best bike with all the bits i wanted for the right money and even sent one back that i bought online as i was so dissapointed with the quality frame finish from one leading bike manufacture, went and looked at the boardman carbon and found so many changes from the 2010 version it was a bargain, had it 3 weeks covered 400 miles so far great great bike, fingers crossed 05 June 2011
Fantastic Buy After many years service from my Carrera Valour, I wanted to move to the next level. I was a bit concerned about spending this kind of money just in case I was disappointed. However, I need not have worried its an amazing bike. Its light, fast and worth every penny. If you want to spend this kind of money but are hanging back then dont, you wont regret it. Ben at Redditch branch did a fantastic job setting it up and I have had no problems at all. Covered 600miles so far and very happy. 03 May 2011

Yes you can, but you will be right on the limit of the mech, so don't be tempted to go bigger than a 28!

As a guide 6' 1" - 6' 2", but this will depend on the inside leg measurement of the rider and their reach to the handlebars. We would recommend visiting a store and trying a few bikes for size and fit before buying.
